We traded 7 guys man. Can't you just accept that they may have canvased the league, looking for good value in return for Green and it wasn't there, so they held him? If Green's pitching great next year, they can deal him then. He'd probably have more value as an expiring contract than he would with $10.5M attached to him next year.
I don't get the WTF, like you're all confused about this. The Jays just has a REALLY GOOD trade deadline. It certainly seems like they know what they're doing.
