If you look at Babcocks resume it is very impressive but when you look further into and look at the front offices with the Anaheim and Detroit and the rosters they acquired and developed, same with the National Team, it wasn't very hard to win. When he took over Detroit there were 5 hall of fame players and two #1 goalies on the roster. Same with the Canadian National Team, not very difficult to win with that roster.
IMO Babcock is fools gold and I don't think his success which coincidentally coached teams with two of the best front offices in hockey is going to translate well in Toronto.
