  1. Yeah. It's dumn to blame the manager when the players in every phase of the game has been terrible.
  2. Bautista derping defensively, selfish at bats by the entire team, MB sucking and being pulled for Schultz and sucking is apparently Gibbons fault.
  3. Click on the Donaldson Great, Trout Better Audio...LOL...the fun starts at 2:08 http://www.sportsnet.ca/590/brady-and-walker/
  4. His rant on sabremetrics was just as bad. Even worse his analysis on "premium positions". He was implying there is no way he is as good as Trout because Trout plays a defensive position up the middle of the field. Basically he was implying only shortstops, catchers or centre fielders can provide MVP value to a team. If Donaldson played SS he would think about it differently.
  5. Gregg Zaun going full derp on Brady and Walker stating the only thing Donaldson is beating Trout in is RBI's.
  6. http://m.mlb.com/news/article/143744228/castrovince-josh-donaldson-for-al-mvp
  7. He really has. Donaldson has been utterly incredible.
  8. First thing I checked this morning. Yup, Donaldson and Trout tied in fWAR. Riding in the car the other day and on the MLB network they were pumping Donaldson over Trout. So Donaldson is getting MVP attention outside of Canada.
  9. Yup. Phillies should have caught that. That was a big f up by Gibby that was missed luckily.
  10. Gibby waved his left hand to the bullpen...Phillies should have made them throw in a lefty.
  11. Adderall (enhancing the ability track and therefore put contact on a ball that far out of the strike-zone) + BIG AND STRONG.
  12. The Royals also made similar comments after their last series with the Jays at the Sky Dome. Orioles too but that was in 2013 or 2014 about them jumping on off-speed pitches like they knew they were coming. Russell Martin a current player accused them of stealing signs but that was with a player tipping at 2nd base. It is obvious ******** about the guy in center field but I love it that it is in the minds of the opposing managers and players. I think it is an advantage to the Jays.
  13. Exactly! Perpetuate the myth. It is a mental advantage for the Jays.
  14. Something to keep an eye on when the Blue Jays and Yankees meet again: everybody on both teams thinks everybody on the other team is stealing signs or tipping location, which can lead to some nastiness. As Yankees closer Andrew Miller said: “There’s a lot going on out there.” The Yankees are one of the teams that uses multiple signs at the Rogers Centre even when there’s nobody on base, out of fear that somehow, someone somewhere in centre-field is stealing something. This all goes back, of course, to assertions from the Chicago White Sox contained in a 2011 ESPN The Magazine article, and it’s had a remarkable shelf-life considering the changeover in personnel the Blue Jays have undergone. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/hutchison-demotion-still-on-table-despite-strong-outings/
  15. Valencia adds greater value than Loup, Pennington and Kawasaki combined.
  16. It definitely can. Not by strength but in the ability to track the ball. Enhancing ones concentration would be a HUGE benefit to a hitter especially when we are dealing with split second reactions. It is a banned substance for a reason. It is performance enhancing. Davis is a cheat.
  17. After I saw him hit that walk off and THE location where he it, I thought of adderall and how that could have helped him even as BIG and STRONG of a guy that he is. I wish I had adderall when I was in university. It would have turned me into a focused studying machine that wouldn't have allowed my mind to be bogged down by workload stress. B's would have turned to A's and A's would have turned to A+'s.
  18. It's funny that the Baltimore fans always accuse Jays players like Bautista of performance enhancing drugs but there is no evidence even close to it. Yet, the Orioles are the known cheats with Davis single handedly winning games for the Orioles with adderall pumping through his veins.
  19. I should be considered as a mod. I love baseball, the Jays, casuals and advanced stats. Though the most important trait is not baseball related and that is I am not emotionally vested into this forum or the regulars that post. That would make for an appropriate, unbiased arbitrator at bluejaysmessageboard.com
  20. Donaldson could easily surpass Trout in WAR by the end of the season.
  21. Hahahahaha Calrip1983 and Shitwalter! Halos with a walk-off!!!
  22. He sure does especially if you get ahead 0-2, 1-2 in the count. Pound breaking balls down in the zone. If he doesn't swing at those he loves to whiff on the high and inside fastball. He can't hit it but he loves to swing at it for some reason.
  23. Davis is an easy out, even cheating hopped up on adderall. Breaking balls out of the strike-zone and fastballs high and in. Jones scares me MUCH more.
  24. That is f***ing hilarious.
