    Yeah after looking at the draft he's probably the guy. Closer to the majors and has been really good in the minors so far as well. Good thing I own them both in BORED

    If you had to redo the 2016 MLB draft today does Bo go number 1? I think he does, he's been that f***ing good.

    Yeah I know you made it to roast him but Pillar has been top 50 in WAR since 2015. Thats pretty f***ing good. I'd rather a player be over confident than the opposite. He should be moved down in the order though. Maybe a day off as well but they don't even have a backup CF on the roster.

    He's still better than he was the last few years offensively. Walk, Strikeout and power numbers are improved. But he's probably lost the value added on defense. He probably shouldn't be hitting leadoff though Martin is really the only person who might be a better fit considering whos healthy right now.

    His IFFB% is also a career low 7.8%. That will raise the BABIP some but probably not this much.

    I wonder with the Calf injury if the Jays are hesitant to put him at 2B. You would think they would try him out there while he's on a rehab assignment in the minors since thats the place you can do it and not suffer any consequences if he's bad.

    There has to be someone available outside the org. who would be an upgrade at 2B/LF over what we have at the moment. 2 Complete black holes. Hopefully Pearce can start to hit when he comes back but that still leaves a big hole. Blue Jays always seem to have one of the worst benches in baseball.

    I liked the pick. Rounds 1-3 I really liked. After that not so much.. Kevin Smith not a fan of. I guess it matters how much they sign these guys for too because if they could get Ritcheson with the $ saved from rounds 5-10 then obviously that matters but not many of those guys seem like under 10K bonuses.

    I honestly know nothing except getting an idea reading the scouting reports. But it seems like they took a lot of lower ceiling college players for around slot value. I'd be more intrigued if they took a few more HS guys with more upside and then you can use the massive player development support system you created to help these players reach closer to their potential.

    I like the top of the draft with Warmoth and Danner but a lot of meh after that. Obviously not going to be able to get great talent in the middle rounds but thought they would go for more upside given the changes in player development they have made.

    Average FB velo is 93.5MPH among relievers so if you are sitting 95 it'd be plus in terms of velocity.

    There have been a number of scouts who said he needs to change his swing. Chopping wood swing isn't working.

    I don't think that'd be as fun. Also doubt the MLBPA would go for it.

    The players really have more leverage because if they don't sign then the team gets screwed by losing that slot amount. But if you have a pre-draft deal you can't really do much because then the agent would get screwed for future negotiations.

    Writing is pretty much on the wall. He had surgery and when he had surgery in the offseason he was out for 4-5 months.
