  1. When does JP Howell get DFA'd? He's been a complete waste of a roster spot and its obvious he can't get anyone out at the Major League level. Atkins roster management has been skeptical so far. They need another position player on the team.
  2. Well its a fact Ceci doesn't play the PP thats not even an opinion lol. I can see why people think they are boring to watch, Saturday was super sloww. But I was at game 5 vs the Rangers and it was one of the most exciting games of the playoffs.
  3. Well obviously you don't watch because Cody Ceci doesn't even play the PP. And Kyle Turris is one of the more exciting players to watch lol
  4. Karlsson is worth it by himself to watch.
  5. San Diego has the most pefect weather. Its like 75 Degrees there every day. (25-28 C)
  6. Pretty cool ceremony in NY for Jeter.
  7. He plays shallower when Stroman is on the mound which I think is wrong. Coaching staff needs to do a better job communicating this to the players. While Stroman gets alot of groundballs his flyballs aren't shallower because of that.
  8. He needs to play farther back in the OF imo especially when Stroman is on the mound. He's had a few balls go over his head that should have been caught.
  9. Christ Gibby gets Osuna back up. Its a 5 run lead with 3 outs.
  10. Yeah he can't barrel the ball. He's great defensively but if he continues to hit like a pitcher he doesn't hold much value.
  11. Maile is such a bad hitter. Thole I think is better by a good margin.
  12. Karlsson best in the world.
  13. Jp Howell should be DFA'd. Terrible all year.
  14. I never understood the "build around a player" theory anyway. Makes sense in other sports like Basketball or football where the play is free flowing and you can take advantage of a player's strengths like putting 3 point shooters around Lebron. But in baseball a player hits against a pitcher. The goal of every pitcher is the same to get the player out. You can build your team to maximize the benefits of your ballpark but building around a player doesn't make sense.
  15. Even the fastball he's moving a lot.
  16. Ohlman doesn't look good receiving. Tough to be good behind the plate at that size.
  17. Lets slow down on comparing him to a HOFer and one of the best hitters in the game. There like a 2% chance of him sniffing the career Miggy has had.
  18. Good comparison for Vlad would be EE. Power hitter who walks at an above average rate who don't strike out much. EE started out at 3rd too then moved to 1st base.
  19. Sounds like he's going to be out for a while in Lott's article.
  20. Atmosphere is the best I've heard all year.
  21. When does Gibby learn Barnes is a 1 inning guy?
  22. Yeah would be extremely tough now. It sucks because the 2nd Wildcard is wide open. The AL sucks this year.
  23. Happ has been too and doesn't look like he's coming back anytime soon.
  24. SI curse is real. Donaldson, Tulo, Martin, Price all on the DL with Bautista and Edwin having bad years. Gibby is the other. http://www.tsn.ca/blue-jays-featured-on-sports-illustrated-cover-for-first-time-since-2005-1.372670
  25. Gibbons said might head down for a rehab assignment this weekend.
