    Dodgers are going to trade Puig one way or another. Apparently he is a cancer to the team in the clubhouse. Even the Ultra analytic Dodgers don't want to have him.

    From everything I'm reading it doesn't really seem like Shapiro is the one making any of the moves. He'll be there to sign off on the moves but Lacava is the one targeting certain FA.

    What the hell happened to Anthony Gose? Worst CF defensively according to those rankings. In Toronto he looked really good range wise and had a pretty good arm as well.

    You forget he is also the president of business operations. That means renovating RC, finding a ST facility etc.. Those are very important projects for the long term success of the Blue Jays.

    It'd be pretty close. I just prefer the position player to pitcher in terms of long term control. If they each had say 2 or 3 years of control then I would do it.

    Brett Gardener has declined a ton defensively by DRS and UZR. I think thats why people get a little hesitant to hand out such large contracts to guys like Gordon and Heyward.

    Oh thought you meant overall. Could always do a 3 way trade if the opportunity presents itself.

    His salary isn't as bad as what people make it out to be. 20 Million isn't much now a days and in a few years will be what 12-15 million is now. Hardly a zero-asset. If Jeff Samardzija is going to get $75-80 million after a subpar season with the QO attached then Tulo is getting a ton more than 5/100 even though he had a bad year.     best option seems to be suspend with pay. I would still do it on a case by case basis but unless it seems like a total fabrication suspending with pay seems to the safest bet until the legal process plays out.

    I think Price to the NL is a forgone conclusion at this point. Kuma, Samardzja and Kennedy seem the more likely options. I really can't see the Jays outbidding the Dodgers for Greinke.

    Well I'd do 500 PA. But the player has never had 600 PA before so seems dumb to use that number. It'd be like rating Josh Donaldson's performance per 750PA.

    I'd say Lowry has a lot of trade value as well. Honestly, I'm fine with the team being a top 4 team in the conference that has a small chance of getting to the finals. Think Pacers of a few year ago. I just want the Raptors to get a good coach. If you do a rebuild/tank it can be 5-7 years before you even are able to compete. Even teams that tank properly like the Sixers can take 4-5 years to get an elite talent out of the draft.

    I'll do 2.5 but not prorating it to 600PA. He hasn't show the ability to play over 600PA so why should the bet be dependent on that?

    Manfred sounded like MLB will do this. Have to think Reyes gets suspended even without a conviction as well.

    Thought Martin would of had a chance at C. Sal Perez seems to get a better reputation for his defense than he actually produces.
