*without his approval* I could see Anderson accepting a trade to Toronto. He seems like a pretty smart guy and would know the benefits RC provides his pitching style. I think he's friends with JD too so JD could convince him to come over.

Who was going to give him a big contract though? I'm not signing a guy to a long term deal who is best known for throwing out baserunners coming off TJS. He isn't a good pitch framer either so his value just simply wasn't that high I would think. Kinda good he did though as it f***s over Baltimore

I can see why he is taking the QO. There probably just wasn't any interest in giving up a draft pick for a guy who wasn't very good last year. I think we all thought he would decline solely because Boras was his agent.

Best part is that he isn't even taking that many shots. Its not like he's Kobe taking 30 shots a game. Guy has a TS% of over 70% which is insane let alone for a PG.. I'd love to see the Warriors live. Tickets are so expensive for when they come to Toronto though.

Interesting that on Radio AA said that Free Agent deals for players with families tend to be pretty difficult in Toronto. Most guys have kids that go to school in the US so they don't want to move them across the country. He said they've had players choose elsewhere for the sole reason that the other city offered a direct flight to his hometown while Toronto didn't. I'd say that generally thats the feel I get with Toronto as well. Great place to live if you are single and 20-29 but if you have a family it wouldn't be the greatest place to live. If you have a family you are going to want to live in a house and considering where RC relative to the housing areas is then you gotta deal with traffic etc..

Did Pompey change his swing in the minors? Looked over his stats and in 2015 with the Jays he had an infield flyball rate of 30%. Even though that is a Small sample size that seems alarmingly high?

I don't know why Josh Thole never gets talked about for being a non-tender candidate. Does any team in MLB even give him more than league min.? I can't even see him getting a 25 man roster spot elsewhere. Seems like an easy way to save over a million bucks.

Andrew Macdonald might be the worst considering he was just always terrible. Kessler's looks bad but at least he is still a good player right now.
