  1. Well then you have to give credit to a catcher for framing and that opens up another can of worms about pitching performance..
  2. I'll take Hoffman and Norris over Alforf, Tellez, SRF and Pentecost. And to be honest I'd be surprised if Pentecost has any trade value.
  3. Cory Joseph should shoot more 3s. Pretty good shooter but for whatever reason doesn't shoot 3s.
  4. not with how bad a teammate Fernandez is
  5. 500 level in the first 10 rows behind the plate is a great seat. Down the baseline I find isn't even worth it for free. Surprised the Jays charge the same amount for the entire upper deck.
  6. Well a pitcher does both at the same time compared to a position player hitting and fielding. Pitching is about run prevention and if award voters base their votes on that it should be included.
  7. Just curious what are the other things you are thinking of?
  8. Keuchel had 13 DRS. Can't overlook how valuable that is.
  9. I'd agree that the "defensive defenceman" are becoming useless as now a days you won't go anywhere if you can't skate and move the puck. I think the transition to becoming a d-man is a lot harder than you think though. There are some really smart GMs out there and we would hear about it, if it was worth doing.
  10. I said I'd rather target a player who didn't give up a ton of HRs. If a SP is an upgrade I'd obviously take it.
  11. Keuchel deserved to win regardless
  12. Estrada got a 4th place and 5th place vote lol
  13. Lmao did the guys interviewing Keuchel not recognize who Smyly was?
  14. I think their would be a larger advantage to having a GB pitcher with Donaldson, Tulo, Goins infield and half the games on the slow turf. Obviously if the flyball pitcher is the much better pitcher you go with the talent but if it they are close I'd take the GB guy.
  15. With the blue jays likely having 7 of 8 players being plus defenders I'd rather the Jays target a guy who doesn't give up a ton of HRs.
  16. Elite C impact the game more then Dmen but you still need good Dmen to be a good team.
  17. Travis won't be traded with the latest injury news.
  18. He wasn't bad defensively with the blue jays so could be small sample size. He's also as dumb as bricks so that probably doesn't help.
  19. Guess you never read the part where the Jays aren't going to make a trade to be worse in 2016. And besides the point Bautista isn't accepting a trade to f***in Cleveland lol.
  20. Possibly but I can't see the Jays selling the farm for Carrasco with Shapiro aboard.
  21. They're not going to do that... Much more like Pompey for Bauer.
  22. I don't think he would be as successful as a forward. Theres a pretty large transition between the positions.
  23. This is where having the Turf really hurts in acquiring FA. Jays really get the s*** end of it in FA. Pitchers don't want to come here because its a hitter's park and position players don't want to come because of the turf.
  24. Pompey for Bauer?
  25. I'd have Karlsson and Subban on my team before a lot of forwards.
