    Man what a stupid reckless appearance here by Giles. It was a tie game (so no save opp) and Giles had pitched 2 days in a row, including in a blowout for some reason. Trade his ass this weekend before he gets hurt. 2018 is only a year ago. The scars of waiting too long to pull the trigger are still visible.

    He was off on Sunday. Now off Thursday. That’s excessive even for load management. Something is either not right or Montoyo thinks he’s managing Vlad Sr.

    All I want is for Atkins to sell high. Last year he traded a one legged JD with 4 weeks of control left, Osuna with a DV cloud over him, and Happ when he had a 7.41 ERA in his last 4 starts. That's why I am fine with Stro missing a start and the ASG if he has to. Better than coming back too soon and hurting his performance or himself further. Giles and Stroman are definitely the two biggest trade assets Atkins has ever dealt with. He has to do well here.

    Yeah for whatever reason the Jays like Drury. He has 3 years of control left and an option remaining. I think he'll be here next year as a utility player. McKinney on the other hand is hanging on by a damn thread. No reason he should be on the 40 man for much longer.

    Yeah while I'd be scared at the thought of trading Stroman for all pitching prospects, a package of Garcia/Contreras/Gil is probably fair. Not sure Cashman would trade all of that, he's usually pretty stingy trading prospects, but he knows the Yankees have a window right now and the Astros want Stro too, so maybe he'll bend a bit. As long as it's not Clint Frazier coming back, I'm good.

    I think it's the opposite. They both suck, but of the two, Drury is the one that wouldn't surprise me if he turned into something. McKinney does nothing well. He literally has no average or better tool. He's bad at everything.

    If the Yankees get Stroman, then we are getting Frazier as the main piece. No thank you. Trade with any other team. Lots of teams in contention, especially in the NL.

    Well at this point I think it's clear he was the old man that Tampa did not want to fire and not someone who actually believes in their practices.

    There isn't much Buntoyo can do about the pitch counts since it takes Thornton 30 pitches to get past 3 batters, but damn the high pitch counts in low innings seem like a really bad combination.

    Thornton threw like 80 pitches in two innings in his last start didn’t he? He needs the AS break.

    Biggio turning into Matt Carpenter would be amazing. Skill set is similar.

    Wow just saw what’s left of Myers’ contract. I can’t see Shatkins taking on $60m and trading their best trade chip unless it’s an amazing haul of prospects.

    Grichuk needs to start playing ball in January, that way he's ready to hit in April.

    Add Bichette to this group and it's going to get really fun. (the pitching will be a different story)

    Yup, but I'm convinced he is a placeholder. No one wanted this job to join a tanking team, so we hired a dude who would have never managed otherwise and will never manage again afterwards. Once 2021 hits, I'll be surprised if he's still here. (I'm telling myself this to make myself feel better).

    Realistically, if we took Myers and his s***** deal, what prospects could we get from SD?

    Sanchez will probably say he felt good and thought he pitched well and then throw one of his teammates under the bus. No way he’s getting traded now. Have to move him to the pen.

    This is what we all wanted this season to be. We knew it wouldn’t be pretty but young players starting to look good. I mean the royals are s*** but even the sweep in NY was entertaining.

    It wouldn’t be a Jays trade deadline unless the player being shopped is at lower than normal value so right on schedule. But seriously hope Stro is alright.

    Baseball is declining hard in the US so expanding globally is the best way to go. The NBA is going to explode globally soon. MLB needs to lay some groundwork in other parts as well.
