  1. Just call him Kelvin Pillar
  2. Yeah I could get it if they were counting on him to give multiple innings but his outings have also been rather short.
  3. Pompey has plate discipline. Pompey can switch hit. There are a lot of reasons to like Pompey more. I say give Pillar starts against LHP but not always at the expense of Pompey because Dalton needs to face some LHP too. He is definitely the CF of the future.

So the silver lining is Casey getting fired right? Right? No way Masai keeps him right?
  5. McRae still the king. All that verbal violence and he drew blood to boot.
  6. They usually have some songs on the ready for last me minute call ups and such. I remember the Montreal Expos having a standard latino number they would use for all the latino guys until they picked their own song. The Jays should have just run with their generic latino guy cue until a selection of Osuna's was vetted.
  7. He has a point that the Jays should distance themselves from a song like this. The whole "I'm such a hero to my daughter for doing this" angle he's taking on it is obnoxious as hell and kind of exploitive. Just ask for the song to be removed like a normal person. No need for a 21 point essay.
  8. You're getting a lot of stuff confused here. Firstly, sure they have similar flaws but the magnitude is not the same and that matters (a lot). I'm pretty sure you already know this but for whatever reason you choose to ignore it and act as if it's others who are being ignorant. Also the command issue in of themselves are not unexpected but the dead arm as exarcebating factor is not. Once again, you're ignoring a key piece of information. Perhaps you do it to be annoying?
  9. Given that he's not pitching well right now anyways, it seems like there's nothing to lose by giving Estrada his spot.
  10. Well f*** me... Seems like there's no way of knowing for sure if this is serious or not.
  11. I don't typically blame the team for its injuries (it's a part of the game after all) but if Norris tears his labrum just so he can give the team few more inneficient innings, you can bet I'll place all the blame squarely on the organization. This is ridiculous. It sucks that Reyes and Norris are injured but denial is not a proper way of dealing with injurie. Put them on the DL ffs. Goins is being forced into action anyways and why is Estrada here if not for this very situation?
  12. So why not throw him on the DL and give his spot to Estrada then?
  13. Is it just me or does that not sound kind of awful? Either this is being trivialized or the expression "dead arm" is a bit of a misnomer for something more trivial than what's described above.
  14. Thanks. I didn't realize this wasn't just baseball parlance.
