    Hypothetical question. Had the Jays sustained another injury after they completely exhausted their entire 26 man roster, would they have had to forfeit the game if the player couldn't continue or would they be allowed to play a man down in the field and take an automatic out when it would be their turn to bat?

    Vlad isn't given an opportunity to hit in that scenario. If they don't send Schneider there are runners and second and third and they walk Vladdy with an open base and pitch to IKF 100% of the time. In hindsight it was the right call to send Schneider with 2 outs to try and score that run. It took 2 perfect throws to get him out.

    I get that long term it would be ideal for Bichette to be a 2nd baseman, but can we really start him at 2nd base in the World Series when he has never played a game at 2nd base in his major league career? That would seem a little crazy wouldn't it?

    I have a good feeling about Scherzer tonight! This is the exact type of game he was brought in to pitch! He's been in situations like this countless times throughout his career and won't succumb to the pressure. He is a true gamer and is built for games like this! In Scherzer we trust!

    Schneider needs to let Beiber go tonight, need 7 innings from him, please don't pull him prematurely. He's only a rental, let him pitch till that arm falls off.

    It's too bad Bichette isn't healthy, but he looked in serious pain trying to round second base yesterday in practice. He's done for the playoffs I think and might very well have played his last game in a blue jays uniform. Glad that we have added both Scherzer and Bassitt to the roster, much needed depth pieces.

    Are players that are left off the roster allowed to still be in the dugout? Think having Scherzer still in the dugout for Vetrin presence would be good.

    Biggest suprise is Bassitt not on the roster and Bruihl on it. I get the move though, with the Yankees having so many left handed bats they want as many LH options out of the pen.

    I think this is why it's so critical to have guys in the lineup like Santander that have the ability to change the game with one swing of the bat. With fewer hits on average in the playoffs, the impactful hits are even more important. Even if Santander strikes out a ton, he can run into one at any given time and change the whole outcome of a series. My gut just tells me he is gonna have a special moment in this series vs Yankees.

    Roof should be open for both games this weekend. Temps in the mid 20s with no rain in the forecast.

    Prices are only gonna go up, especially considering they are playing the Yankees and they are also weekend games for 1 and 2. I bought 500L for $230 yesterday. Cheapest tix for 500L are now in the $270-$280 range.

    Hope the Yankees/Sox game goes 20 innings tonight and they get into a bench clearing brawl and couple guys get hurt, nothing serious just enough to knock them out for the next round lol

    What time slots do you think the Jays will get for games 1 and 2 on Saturday/Sunday. I'm hoping the 6pm slot on Saturday and maybe 4pm Sunday. Only 2 games Sunday, so I'm assuming it will be 4pm and 8pm games?
