    The only problem with playing Barger at 3B is that you are more than likely benching Ernie (the team leader in WAR) for an outfield platoon consisting of guys like Roden, Clase and Schneider. I suppose they can rotate Barger through the DH spot sometimes. And in the end, it all probably shakes out fine. They'll figure it out.

    It will be interesting to see what they do. Since Barger can play either OF or 3B, you can leave him in the lineup at one of the two spots. And then it kind of comes down to some sort of Roden/Clase platoon in LF vs. Clement being in at 3B. Right now it's tough to take that platoon over Clement.

    Tough set of games coming up. Phillies, @ Minny, @ STL and @ Phillies. Need to play well here and then the schedule opens up. We get a ton of home games or games against garbage teams heading into the ASB. 6 games against the White Sox, another series against the A's, etc. 2nd half schedule is a lot of AL and NL Central plus the Rockies and Marlins. The team is in good shape right now.

    The weather is amazing this weekend, the boys are hitting tanks, we’ve got a 4 game win streak, and Gausman is on the hill tomorrow Summer is off to one hell of a start you guys

    We really need to make sure to lock down the win today. The Jays are only -160 and I fully expect to see Mason Miller today as he hasn't pitched in 5 days. But if we can secure the W today then we've got a great shot to sweep with Gausman vs. Sears tomorrow.

    The defense up the middle of the field would be insane. Possibly even historically elite as there is a good chance you would have the best defensive player in the league at the following positions: C- Kirk 2B- Clement SS- Gimenez CF- Varsho

    Damn! I haven't even thought of Clement as a full-time starter before but perhaps it's time to consider it. Currently leads the team in WAR Updated Steamer600 is 2.4 WAR. That's solid as is but Steamer undersells his defense by projecting it to be near average. Zips is lower on his bat but seems to capture his defense more accurately and pegs him as roughly a 3 WAR player moving forward. As for who would play 2B and who would play SS between he and Gimenez it probably wouldn't matter a ton. Gimenez seems to have the stronger arm so you might want him there.

    Gimenez should be pretty good. His xStats and projections are fine so his performance is probably just bad luck in a SSS. He was basically playing at a 4 WAR pace before he got injured.

    We also fleeced the Mariners twice. We got RJ Schreck for Justin Turner and then got Clase for Yimi. I think some of the other lower level guys are doing pretty well too.
