  1. Pallante career splits: vs. RHP: .354 wOBA vs. LHP: .279 wOBA
  2. Pallante actually has pretty big reverse splits.
  3. I'm tired of this ramping up crap. He's older than dirt and this is likely his last season. Get your ass to Buffalo and throw an 80 pitch game and then get yourself to Toronto to replace Francis. Once your thumb falls off, announce your retirement and then you can sit in the dugout and eat sunflower seeds with the boys. But until then we need to patch this rotation together until the trade deadline. Get on the mound bud.
  4. The Cardinals and their fans don’t really bother me. Yes, they act like they invented baseball. But it's nothing compared to Yankee fans who think they have the right to every MLB player through: whatever BS mock trade they expect other teams to automatically accept, or through Free Agency where players line up to sign with the Yankees like it's an episode of The Bachelor This why Michael Kay and the rest of those blowhards hate Vlad so much. He’s one of the few players who flat-out said he hates the Yankees and would never sign there. (Yeah Vlad took a two month break from that so his agent Marc Anthony could squeeze every single cent possible out of Ed Rogers but still.) Cardinals fans are more like, “Look how we developed this prospect The Cardinal Way™ — aren't we great?” Not nearly as bad.
  5. Hmm, seems like they had to bring Turnbull up and since Schultz threw 40 pitches on Friday and 19 today he wasn't going to be available for a while. But Francis threw 89 pitches today and also could have been optioned. Since they chose to option Schultz it seems like Francis might survive another turn through the rotation.
  6. Another solid job of limiting the 2nd of the 4 home runs to just a solo shot
  7. Yeah Bowden is broken I’d rather have Turnbull out there throwing 90 or Easton Lucas even at this point
  8. Great job by Bowden to limit that home run to just a solo shot
  9. Vlad’s defense has undergone a remarkable turnaround this year, he’s got positive OAA on the year
  10. If Francis implodes again they probably just give Turnbull a shot whether he's ready or not (he's not)
  11. WC1 for now Spank but AL East leaders before the season ends…book it
  12. ☝️this guy knows ball
  13. Sox fans have already given up on the season lmao
  14. Agreed he’s gotta be on a short leash, probably gone after the season anyway
  15. The Buffalo Boys arriving onto the big league stage is a complete game changer The mileage will vary between them all but Barger, Lukes and Clement becoming ~3 WAR players improves the lineup dramatically
  16. Second most comeback wins in baseball this year with 19
  17. Maybe if you would just listen and learn from the more insightful posters of the board like Spanky and me you wouldn’t have had a panic attack back in April lol You’ve got a lot to learn lol but glad to see you are coming around lol going to be a fun summer friend lol
  18. This team is on fire boys We threw a AAAA pitcher and a KBO reject and still beat the breaks off of a playoff hopeful who had their ace on the mound
