    Since we are on the topic of Nathan Lukes I'd like to remind everyone of this post I made back in April. Lukes has been slashing .287/.386./404 in 162 plate appearances since. It took a lot of courage at the time but it feels good to be completely validated.     It’s all good Berrios is starting to get some mileage on his arm and it was a valiant attempt to get 3 innings out of Manny Piñata against a s*** team before optioning him after the game we've got an off day Thursday and can use some lower leverage guys to finish it off manny piñata can still get optioned and all in all the pen usage has been lighter the past couple of games

    Someone would take him. We might not get anything more than a little bit of salary relief but there are contenders with trash bullpens that need warm bodies and will like his vetrin presents.

    Agree with you both. ChiSox have a bottom third rotation and bullpen instead of being historically bad like you might expect. They also play much better at home. We just had a pretty emotionally taxing homestand with a ton of close games and the bullpen is running on fumes. The boys need to make sure they are taking these final 6 games seriously. 5-1 vs. 3-3 could be the difference in winning the division or not. Would really help if Berrios could come out and dominate for 7 innings tonight.

    Joey plays pretty darn good defense and is probably one of the best base runners on the team. His profile plays up a little better as a bench player. He also had a really bad April but has been pretty good since May. I thought I read that he was making some swing changes to cut down on the Ks.

    Gausman, Berrios, Bassitt next against the Angels and ChiSox….we need some 7 inning gems out of these guys
