  1. Agree with you both. ChiSox have a bottom third rotation and bullpen instead of being historically bad like you might expect. They also play much better at home. We just had a pretty emotionally taxing homestand with a ton of close games and the bullpen is running on fumes. The boys need to make sure they are taking these final 6 games seriously. 5-1 vs. 3-3 could be the difference in winning the division or not. Would really help if Berrios could come out and dominate for 7 innings tonight.
  2. Joey plays pretty darn good defense and is probably one of the best base runners on the team. His profile plays up a little better as a bench player. He also had a really bad April but has been pretty good since May. I thought I read that he was making some swing changes to cut down on the Ks.
  3. we are the favorites to win the division at this point
  4. Gausman, Berrios, Bassitt next against the Angels and ChiSox….we need some 7 inning gems out of these guys
  5. Get ready for the bunts Angels! I hope you’ve been doing your PFP!
  6. Imagine you’re Sam Backman Former first round pick who has dealt with injuries and finally made the league You’ve been working on your craft for years and are throwing 99 out of the pen Come into a tie game in the 10th with the ghost runner on 2nd You know you suck at fielding and look over and see the tomato-faced manager of the blue jays with a s*** eating grin on his face Jays have 4 slap hitting bunters coming up and the fastest guy in baseball on 2nd Sam Backman had ZERO chance of getting that game to the 11th lmao
  7. I like that he’s post Tommy John, should be able to stay healthy through that 2.5 years peralta kind of scares me
  8. Schneiderball seriously has this league shook it gets to the 10th inning and it’s nothing but bunts from then on he had the Angels scrambling, they literally s*** themselves and blew the game
  9. And John Schneider is terrorizing this league with an onslaught of bunts, the likes of which haven’t been seen since the 1970s The league is shook and this team is incredible
  10. Eric Lauer is our best starting pitcher lol
  11. Yeah and then he bare handed it too, that play had bad news written all over it
  12. After we won last night I went and celebrated by getting into several bar fights so I didn’t see anything online after spending the night in the drunk tank. Has Michael Kay shown his face since the public flogging he took this week? What about Aaron Boone?
  13. lol even mild mannered Jamie Campbell is fired up get bent Michael Kay
  14. Good series Yankees! I’d like to wish Michael Kay, Aaron Boone and that classy fanbase of theirs a great 4th of July weekend! Enjoy your trip home fellas!
  15. Michael Kay was whining that Vlad wasn’t thrown out lol
  16. Not sure the Brewers would move Peralta. They are still contending. I think Sandy Alcantara would be a good fit. He had a good June with a 3.47 FIP. He's also got a team friendly contract through 2027. And he's never really been a huge K/9 guy so I think he would benefit from our elite framing and defense more than most frontline guys. The Marlins are slightly below average with both.
  17. Bo needs to get his pecker back into the lineup tonight
  18. Adding on to this but Burr pitched yesterday so he's probably not getting the call today. He's been lights out since the May setback. In 4 AAA appearances: 4.1 IP, 0 runs, 3 BBs, 1 hit and 6 Ks The Yanks have a ton of lefties so I would imagine that Bruihl gets an inning today and then they swap him out for Burr after the game.
