    Yeah you're right. I didn't adequately factor in running the bases.

    One small change that this team could do is bring up Kelly and dump Goins. Tell Morales he's going to play the field some. Then use the DH spot as a roving spot for all the old guys to get rest. Kelly can come in handy in this spot as he can mix and match the rest of the game with Barney, Zeke, Smoak, etc. If we are going to have a 0 WAR player on the field, instead of it being Smoak why not use Kelly and others to at least give an old guy some rest.

    Laugh if you want but it was somewhat close and in 30 seconds if they didn't have a definitive answer you might as well use up your review rather than save it for a scenario that likely isn't going to come.

    It's not a perfect fit but the Jays are more of an extension of the Expos than the Nats IMO. And since he works for the Jays it only adds to it making sense IMO. But yeah that's a good point, the Jays are probably the most anti-bring the Expos back franchise in baseball for monetary reasons.

    I don't think we can really evaluate the inside of his head to figure out if he puts more pressure on himself when hitting in a certain spot in the lineup. But regardless I'm not sure we really have a many options for leadoff and that's why Gibbons went with him.

    Peralta has been pretty good his past dozen starts. I'm kind of worried about this game.

    Is there any update on Donaldson other than the lineup? Is he available to pinch hit?
