  1. Does he play the game the right way though?
  2. No way. If Donaldson is on the table Conforto certainly is.
  3. Yeah good point. I guess it could matter if they are on the cusp of the big leagues though right? If someone is offering a similar player to Tellez for Liriano or something we'd probably prefer a LF or something over another Tellez right? Donaldson could net a HUGE haul for us. If Liriano and Estrada are dealing I feel like they could net us something solid as well depending on how many pitchers are on the trade market. With the extra savings we could then dip in to the Free Agent market and not be too bad next year. If we don't turn this around I'm leaning toward having a firesale.
  4. What positions are considered strengths for our system and which are considered weak? I.e. what prospect positions would we might target if we hold a firesale at the deadline?
  5. Arena isn't looking too good.
  6. Hmm those weren't even close either.
  7. This Cardinals series is going to be rough. Wacha tomorrow followed by Latos and Lawrence starts for us.
  8. That call killed us. That ump let Maldonado sell him a bag of ******** and he fell for it.
  9. What's the run expectancy for a runner on 2nd and no out? And then a runner on 1st and 1 out? That has to be a huge difference. EDIT: Runner on 2nd and 0 out = 1.068 runs Runner on 1st and 1 out = .489 HUGE difference
  10. 5-14 with Wacha up next. Probably only going to get 4 hours of sleep tonight as well. Tomorrow will be fun.
  11. Coghlan does not look like a good bunter.
  12. Martin looking good after that slow start.
  13. Coghlan looks about as steady as your average beer league softball 3B out there.
  14. Too many outs on the basepaths this series.
  15. This is a questionable move by Sciosca.
  16. Does this ump's wife know that he's f***ing us tonight?
  17. He might not be but Cohglan is a 0-2 WAR player IMO. He's look great at times over the past few years but had a rough stint with Oakland. Seems like a lot of variance. Zeke is a .5-1.0 WAR player. I'd like to roll the dice at this point.
