  1. It was always a joke/stereotype that the people who bought those Suburu station wagons were always lesbians.
  2. That's the Sheryl Ring that writes for Fangraphs? Lol holy s***
  3. Lol thank you sir!
  4. Geezus, Fangraphs is now triggered by the word "trigger". What a garbage article. Here's what I wrote:
  5. This post is retarded.
  6. Thank you sir. We need to stick together in our battle against these Canadian overlords.
  7. Somehow my post just got deleted but the gist of it was that I don't think 2 weeks was a big deal either way but since I'm out numbered 20 to 1 I am willing to reconsider it.
  8. I think you stopped reading. King explained the NH playoff situation which would delay his debut another couple of weeks. Totally on board with that.
  9. No it will be two extra weeks so 4 total.
  10. I don't think it will be that much worse than when he mashes in AAA and then goes home when expanded rosters happen and Richard Urena comes up instead. His defense will predictably suck and everyone will see it this way. And it's only going to be a matter of two weeks. Not that big of a deal. But it doesn't really matter to me. I remember him saying it was important to him to make the bigs as a teenager so maybe this would placate him some is all. But either way we will manipulate his service time and it will piss him off either way I guess.
  11. That makes sense but if that's the reason then it really shouldn't be a big deal one way or the other. 2 weeks of Vlad vs 2 weeks of Solarte/Drury or whoever it is is probably like 0.2 War?
  12. You haven't explained why its a bad idea though. Let's say he plays in the NH playoffs and comes up for two weeks in Sept. Why is that a horrible plan?
  13. Yeah I would definitely do that then.
  14. Yeah they could do that too. You seem pretty certain on this issue (almost like how Grant feels about most things haha). It would be even more egregious and obvious IMO but they hold all the cards. The theory I'm working from is that I think we are going to suck ass next year anyway so playing in meaningless September games this year or in meaningless April games next April doesn't matter so much.
  15. Theres no ideal situation here and it's all because of the service time rules. Sending him backwards isn't ideal either but I'd do that. I didn't realize the playoffs extended into September. When do the playoffs end?
  16. So what do you guys think they'll do when he mashes in Buffalo until their season ends on September 2nd? Just sit around on his couch and watch the Jays for a month?
  17. He'll debut this year in September. His defense will suck ass and they'll use that to justify his service time manipulation next year.
  18. Tercet reminds me of that guy that used to irrationally hate Dustin McGowan and would constantly post about him for months on end.
  19. When the Jays acquired him the scouting reports I read were that he was a passable CF and a good corner OF. Turns out he's a bad LF which really tanks his value a lot. He was also supposed to be a stolen base threat. He's been clocked as our fastest player but his minor league steals aren't translating to MLB. That said, even though he's 25 he barely just passed 500 big league ABs so he could still make some adjustments and improve with the bat, his glove and even his base running. I think at this point the floor is a platoon LF (perhaps with McKinney making up the other half?) and the ceiling is a 3 WAR player if he can make some improvements.
  20. Man, Logan Warmoth has been BAD. Is he hurt or something? He has 9 extra base hits in over 200 plate appearances this year. His ISO is .066 and he's slugging .298.
  21. Most of the bluecheck people on twitter are saying the Jays got a good deal.
  22. Yeah as Travis keeps going through Arb he could become a non-tender candidate soon.
