    I read Josh Hamilton's book a long time ago and he said he would purposely pitch worse than he was capable in front of scouts because he and his family didn't want him to pitch for this very reason. If you have a viable choice, always choose to hit.

    He was good in 2016. In 2017 he signs w the Jays and is replacement level for a season and a half. Gets traded to the Red Sox and is good again.

    I had to look up what those are but yes. I could see him sitting their making everyone answer his lame guessing game while sipping on some wine and stuffing his face with snacks. He of course wore a sweater the whole time. On Monday he told everyone at the office that he partied over the weekend.

    I like this Wagspank guy. Sounds like he doesn't have a ton of talent but he's got a quirky delivery which helps him overachieve.

    Solarte isn't as bad as everyone thinks. His xwOBA is a very respectable .329, much higher than league average. He's getting BABIP'd into a bad year.

    Add Vlad Jr. to that mix in mid April.

    Assuming he can actually take the field next year he'll add to the glut of infield slop on the roster next year.

    Maybe he has reached a buyout agreement with the Jays and is retiring as a result?

    This Copping guy looks terrible, much worse than that Phillies guy we just got, but I don't really care. Save a little bit of money and pick up a guy with options for org depth. Solid trade.

    In the States it is really big. The NFL is boring, the NBA is kind of picking up but not much and the NHL seems crazy but no one down here cares much.
