Yeah it seems like Clippers are in 3rd to me. Lakes 1A and Raptors 1B. This is just me reading the tea leaves though and the media could definitely be hyping up the Lakers' odds of landing him. Seems like they've been condescending toward the Raps retaining him ever since they dealt for him.

I agree, I'd just go back to the Raptors if I were him. Good org, great fanbase, more money, it's his team/city/country, etc. That said, these NBA guys love LA. Seems like Lakers or Clippers are both very viable options from what I've read. Would not be surprised if he ended up with any of the 3. Seems like the momentum is with the Lakers tbh but that could be warped by the media being so enamored with them.

Kahwi's decision is HUGE right now for the league. If he goes back to the Raptors the race for the championship is wide open and parity runs throughout both conferences. If he goes to the Lakers we've got another superteam on our hands (of course injuries can always derail that).

Lonzo makes over 8 mil a year and Kuzma makes 2 mil. Keeping Ball would have f***ed up their FA plans.

Apparently if they sign D'Angelo Russell to the max, since he's a young player his salary would be 27.5 mil which would also allow them the cap space to match any offer for Reggie Bullock. He's a pretty long wing who can shoot 3s, might be a decent role player for them. So the starting lineup would basically be set with Russell/Bullock/LeBron/Kuzma/Davis. They would have literally no one else on the roster and would have to fill it with ring chasers for the minimum. Or would they get the MLE too?

Thank god. The less time spent on having to go to Cot's the better. Hopefully they tighten up the contracts and add team payrolls next.

Not high on Tellez. I'd give him the rest of the year to figure things out but next year he's a depth guy in AAA to me. Moose is just someone who is constantly providing surplus value. A 3 year deal for him is close to a lock to provide surplus to me so why not take advantage. He's only 30 and he can hit and play the field. I'd be open to extending Smoak for peanuts if he wants though. Regardless of whether we get Smoak or Moose or whoever I also think we need another CJ Cron type pickup next year to DH as well. As for the rotation we need a shitload of help. It's harder for me to say who we should get because it seems like injuries play a bigger factor with them and I don't have much clue on who is going to get hurt or not. BTS mentioned Gibson and he looks pretty good to me. I think a substantial signing like him to go along with a couple of third tier signings is necessary. If we try to paper over the rotation with the Buccholz's and the Richard's of the league it's going to be another long season.
