  1. My guess is Bichette debuts in late April of next year, Galvis' option is declined and Drury is non-tendered.
  2. Yeah on his Fangraphs scouting page they said he has an "electric" slider and changeup and bad fastball command. This year he appears to be throwing a curve instead of the slider though? Regardless, his fastball needs work.
  3. If you look at his statcast pitch charts it appears that he throws his very mediocre four seamer right down the can quite a bit lol.
  4. Fangraphs said he has a really good changeup and slider but if you look at his Statcast it says he throws the following: Four Seamer (37.4%), Changeup (17.2%), Curve (16.9%), Sinker (14.5%), Cutter (14%). Last year both his Changeup and Slider looked really good. Is he really not throwing a Slider this year or is Statcast not that reliable for labeling pitch types correctly? Because it looks like his curveball is pretty effective too. Just has a crap fastball. If he threw the Fastball even less and threw his other pitches more perhaps he could be a backend guy. Regardless, he's a much better option for us than Richard or Jackson.
  5. Lol damn, the Jays are a joke!
  6. So basically we probably won't see Luciano until late August/September which is probably good news.
  7. Luciano to the DL. What's the maximum amount of time he can be on the DL this year for Rule 5 purposes?
  8. Yeah if the Raps lose tonight they are going to be feeling a ton of pressure in Game 7. They might even be considered the underdog for that game. Need to win tonight.
  9. LAdies and gentlemen, we may in fact tag David Hess for a run here. 11+ innings of shutout bull against us so far lol
  10. So Hess threw 6 1/3 hitless innings the first time he faced us and 2 2/3 (and counting) this time. Add it up and we've gone the equivalent of a no-hitter against one of the worst starters in baseball.
  11. Yeah I only like football and baseball. When the Jays are getting their s*** pushed in every single night it sucks.
  12. You aren't going to tune in to see if David Hess can extend his hitless innings streak against us? What's he at right now, 6 1/3?
  13. Can't really say that the hitting coach is doing a great job either. I might add him to the list. But then again it's Atkins who put the (lack of) talent on the field and you can't expect to coach up these scrubs all that much....
  14. Yep. At best his trade value takes a small dip.
  15. Yeah I'm definitely game. There are plenty of candidates.
  16. Yeah good point. Anything involving the elbow seems pretty dicey.
  17. Giles not expected to need more than 10 days according to twitter dot com
  18. Lots of updates from Davidi in this thread.
  19. Nailing the Stroman and Giles trades were going to be one way to jumpstart this rebuild. Maybe Giles comes back quickly and everything is ok but even then this has to hurt his value some. This is the least enjoyable year I've ever witnessed from any of my favorite teams and this is coming from a Sacramento Kings fan.
  20. Geezus, now our best trade chip is hurt.
  21. This sums up my thoughts on most things happening this season.
