Like who? MadBum is a rental and probably not as good. Matthew Boyd may or may not be on the block. Everybody else is a rental or not on the same level or probably not even on the block. There are multiple, multiple contenders needing starting pitchers. -
Capela/Tucker/Gordon/Westbrook/Harden is a hell of a starting 5 but good lord that bench is worse than the Lakers.

Dynasty League: Jordan Groshans or Spencer Howard? I would say this league slightly favors pitchers over hitters.

I kind of like the victory lap tbh. Compete this year with sellout crowds and see how much Siakim can develop with a competitive team around him. Like you said, if it's not working at the deadline he can make trades then.

I think the Twins get him. They'll pay more because they'll value that extra year of control more than most teams would.

I found it to be overwhelming at first but just kind of chime in when I can. It's kind of cool, you get to know some of the posters a lot better.

Can someone explain the talents levels between the DOSL, APPY and GULF leagues? All are considered Rookie League. The DOSL is mostly teenage Dominican guys and is considered the lowest of those 3 levels right? What about the APPY and GULF? Hiraldo is playing APPY and Orelvis Martinez is playing GULF. Which league is better?

He's gotta be one of the more capable guys in the field but I do think stamina could play a role unfortunately lol

I hate a lot of the Lakers moves this offseason including this one. Bradley has been awful the past couple of years, one of the worst in the NBA according to +/-. Rondo is even worse. That said, they did enough to be serious contenders. Lebron at PG helps some. C: Cousins / McGee PF: Davis / Kuzma SF: KCP / Dudley SG: Green / Bradley / Daniels PG: Lebron / Rondo / Caruso / Cook I'd play Caruso more than Bradley or Rondo but I'm not sure they'll actually do that. But if they do that's a pretty damn good 9 man rotation.

Here's a really good angle. You can see Lucroy shift ever so slightly toward the outside part of the bag but it just looks like he's planting his foot to prepare to receive the throw not actually jump to the outside part of the bag. The second he does so Marisnick plants his foot and lunges to the inside right where Lucroy is. His lunge was so big he couldn't really pull up all the well even though he tried. He's huge and also very fast so it ended up being a nasty collision. Just a s*** play all around.

Yeah he did. The ball landed and they panned the camera back to him and he was trotting home lol. He's slow as f*** so it had to be an amazing jump.

The East sucks. A .500 record will get you into the playoffs. Lowry is still playing at an All-Star level, Siakim was a good starter last year who is young enough to improve even more, and Gasol is a good starter. That right there is probably enough but throw in FVV who is a good rotation player, and Serge Ibaka who is a valid NBA rotation player and you've got a playoff team. Probably get bounced in the first round but they'll make the playoffs.

Yeah the Raps should still make the playoffs. Lowry, Siakim, Gasol, FVV is a good enough core for that.

Everyone is underrating the Lakers. They are going to give the Clippers a damn good series.
