I agree.What made Revere such a irreplaceable lead off guy? He has a career OBP of .328 and hardly stole a base or drew a walk with the Jays. Plus he's an average defender with a noodle arm. Pompey could fill that role until Travis is back. Great trade,allowing Sanchez to start. The guys on MLB radio were saying that it was a waste of a great arm with Sanchez to have him as a 6th or 7th inning set-up man.

Boy it's hard to watch Thor and D'Arnaud without thinking what might have been.

Keep them coming...didn't feel like driving to Peoria from Scottsdale to see the game but will catch them at Salt River tomorrow for a few innings. Will have to leave early to catch the Jays game.

I was at the game tonight to watch the Salt River Rafters. The Jays did not send many top prospects here this year (they don't have many left) but it was a good opening night for Rowdy Tellez...he went 2 for 3 with a double and single while driving in 4. The most impressive part of this is that the 2 hits came against a lefty.

At the time, what were the other options in left field besides that s***** outfielder who probably won more games for them than he lost. Also, that back up catcher has to play some games and did help with the bat. EE at first is not a disaster. The bullpen at the time was a disaster. You don't see many one run losses lately, in fact, you don't see many losses. Give the guy some credit.

Interesting stat....Jays leading Yanks in run differential 173-50. You would think they would have more than a 2 game lead...I guess it was all those 1 run losses.

Check out the Reyes story on CBS Sports. Doesn't want to play on a losing team..I'm sure that will endear him to management and teammates. So glad we got rid of that guy.

I knew someone would find a reason to complain about Gibby tonight. I could just hear the outcry if they brought Sanchez in in a mop up roll like Lowe last night. For some of you, Gibby can't do anything right. Enjoy the wins and stop trying to find something to bitch about.

Why wouldn't the Jays lock AA up for a few years. He stocked the farm system with top level prospects and used some of them to acquire players like Donaldson, Tulo, Price, Lowe and Revere. Outside of the Miami and the Mets deals, which everyone applauded at the time, he has done a masterful job of getting talented players while handicapped by the budget..some by trade, others as waiver claims - Cola, Estrada, Travis, Smoak. -
I have never seen so much complaining after a big win. Relax boys and enjoy.The Jays have a deep pen and Lowe needed some work to stay sharp. People always looking to blame Gibby for something. Stop f***ing whining over every move.

Got there Sunday at 11:30 for the trio. Small lineup at gate 6 and our whole group got one...15 minutes later they were all gone. Really didn't expect to get one that late..pleasant surprise.

Did you notice that no player commented on his departure at the time and he didn't look well received by the players when Oakland was here. They basically ignored him.

Valencia was DFA'd because he was not good in the clubhouse...some dissention there.

Would be nice to see Revere start hitting...leaving a ton of men on base. For a guy with his speed he hits a lot of fly balls. I'm sure Pompey could have done what he has in the field and at bat. -
Should have made it worthwhile and hit him above the waist. What a joke. The ump calls one of the worst games ever and the Jays have to pay for it. They should bury Wolf's brother in the low minors.
