  1. For those who are not familiar with Sanchez, check out the you tube video of his 24 season highlites with the Marlins. He could be the steal of the off season.
  2. I really didn't want him taking aat bats away from Barger
  3. Attended the game in Buffalo today to watch Beiber. He struck out the first 2 batters aand then looked pretty pedestrian after that. I may have been expecting too much from him but he went 5 innings with 6Ks and 2 runs allowed. His fast ball sat and peaked at 93 but slider looked awesome.
  4. I agree. I watched Stephen pitch in Dunedin and was not impressed and I trust the management knows a lot more than me.
  5. I didn't catch the postgame. Just my humble opinion and probably that of many others.
  6. Jays have won 9 in a row and some are still compaining about Schneider. He probably is in the running for manager of the year. Get a f***ing life.
  7. In the last 10 games the Jays picked up 6 games on the Yanks and 5 on the Rays. I love this team.
  8. This team is so frustrating to watch. They are always f***ing behind early.
  9. When I saw Pearson and Tiedeman Dunedin was advanced A
  10. I watched him play a couple games in Dunedin in April and he was very impressive. But so was Pearson and Tiedeman. I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm.
  11. Was at the Dunedin Jays last night specifically to see Lesavage and he was interesting. His fastball was always around 94/95 and slider between 81 and 86. He managed 10 ks through 5 with a lot of swing and misses. He threw a ton of strikes and was rarely behind in the count. Had a no hitter through 4 but got into a little trouble in the 5th. He had the bases loaded with none out but managed to strike out the next 2 but gave up and infield single and a throwing error by the catcher led to 3 runs. Overall a pretty good outing. An added bonus was Dalton Varsho in the game as the dh. Btw, keep an eye on Yeuni Munoz. He may be the only position player on this team to move up the prospect rankings. Varsho starting in this afternoon's game in CF. He must be getting close.
  12. Went to the Dunedin Jays game tonight, specifically to see Khal Stephen but also because it was $2 Wednesday...$2 admission , beer, hot dogs and popcorn. Gotta love minor league ball. The line score for Khal was okay, 5 hits, in 5 IP with 5 k's,but he does not stand out.His breaking balls are his strength but his velo topped out at 92. Hope to see Yesavage later this week.
  13. How do you know they never tried to sign himand Vladdy can say that he wants to play here, but do we really know that. Btw, 2 years ago many on this site would have given Vladdy away for a bag of balls. Look at the big picture.
  14. Me too. So much more fun watching this group, win or lose.
  15. Atkins may have saved his job with the Kikuchi trade and in retrospect the Tellez for Bowden Francis and Richards deal.
  16. Yes. This team is now fun to watch, win or lose. The future looks a little brighter.
  17. Jacob Sharp with another good night in Vancouver, 2 for 3 with a HR and double.
  18. 7 for 10 in the double header with 2 HR and 3 doubles. Fun to watch again.
  19. I love this guy.Always gives you a great at bat.
  20. I would accommodate him.
  21. Fun fact. The Jays have not scored a run in the 1st inning since May 4.
  22. I got ridiculed for that comment. Is it still too early? I've been going down to Dunedin for the last 15 years of spring training.Sometimes the eye test really works.
  23. Lukes went 6 for 6 tonight with a hr. Bring him up tomorrow and DFA Vogelbach. No brainer.
  24. Vogeibach should be living in a van down by the river.
