He has a tight Quad. Sat with his dad at last couple games and he said that if it were regular season, he could play. They are keeping him out for precautionary reasons. I did ask Ken what his chances were of starting the season with the big club and with a big grin he answered "very good".
The Jays brass haven't been to any other games...according to Mel Didier,they are busy in trade talks and have gone back to Toronto. Mel mentioned that they have not decided on rule 5 guys yet but the only one who might be taken is Andy Burns.
The AFL is a great venue to meet interesting people and talk baseball,more so than spring training. It is a very relaxed atmosphere at this time of year and there are very few Jays fans around, especially from Ontario.
