  1. 7th inning errors by Texas. Some things never change.
  2. It's the 6th inning and we play 30 of the next 31 days. The next 10 days straight!
  3. Tie game and my first opportunity to complain about Charlie. Why are you taking Stripling out after 1 inning? What a night. Go Jays!
  4. I think Danny had the highest pull percentage in the league last year and he punches one through the right side..lol.
  5. The good news is I didn't forget to pick up some booze before the start of this one! Let's hit the sticks boys!
  6. Thanks for posting. That was fantastic. I can't believe a player would agree to do that. Could you ask for a better player to do it than votto?
  7. I thought Paddack had 3 years of control, only 2. Still a nice pick up. A lot of upside there. Twins are definitely moving in the right direction.
  8. I loved how some people were annoyed by his home run celebrations last year and didn't realize he was doing the Jamie Tartt celebration.
  9. To be fair, I'm sure his agent said, don't take that deal, don't take that deal! A crazy injury can happen at any time and he had 2 years before free agency. You have to present the offers. It's entirely possible Ramirez liked Cleveland and 124 million dollars is still 124 million dollars. It's kind of refreshing to see an elite athlete not force his way out of a small market and take a home town discount.
  10. Did we convince Conforto to get his vaccine? Is he incoming, because this doesn't make a lot of sense unless this true.
  11. I feel like some speakers are getting thrown around in the Yankees locker room tonight.
  12. I hear people say this. Why is this. Is it because of his actions and the way he managed, or the way he treats people away from the baseball diamond out in the general public.
  13. The Chatwood meltdown where he didn't get pulled. The second Chatwood meltdown where he did pull him still up one with the bases loaded and 2 outs and he brings in Travis Bergen to face a lefty with Jordan Romano on the bench who has revers splits. Extra innings a runner on third one out and he walks 2 not so great hitters to load the bases when we still had our own at bat in the bottom of the inning. The grand slam and in the bottom of the 10th Vlad hit a homer of his own and we lose by 2. The 2 guys charlie put on base. Those three seem burned into my brain from last year. There were others. I mean, surely those were learning experiences. He has to be better this year. I feel like not having Chatwood will help Charlie out a bunch.
  14. I truly am a 12 year old boy trapped in an old man's body. I don't know why April 1 brings so much pleasure to me. It just does.
  15. It's a bit of a Sphynx riddle, and follow more people on twitter!
  16. Another odd coincidence of the Springer injury is that it's exactly 3 years to the day that Kevin Pillar was traded to the Giants.
  17. It's great that Romano looks good to go, but out of the 2 he's not the one I'm more concerned about.
  18. f*** me. Romano hurts himself walking his dog and now Springer tweaks his hamstring running the incline hill. Looks like he's he might not make the opening day lineup. Didn't call it a pull, a tweak. What does that even mean? Hopefully he can avoid a DL stint. I finally join a fantasy baseball league and of course I get Springer. What was I thinking...f***!
  19. Ismael Kone making his first start. How could you not watch? Fun qualifying fact. Alphonso Davies was clocked at 37KM/h making his run on his iconic goal against Panama. That works out to 33.7 f/s....now that's a road runner.
  20. I heard his daughters were checking out this thread to see what people were saying about their Dad. I wonder if they realize burlingtonbandit is a 30 year old living in his mother's basement with no actual knowledge of the inner workings of the blue jays.
  21. So is the field sobriety test, walk the line. Touch your nose? In Canada we just make you blow. It was the morning, so he was still intoxicated from the night before. Hopefully his Blood Alcohol level wasn't too high when he got to the station.
  22. Hope you get to see Kone at some point. 23:30 of this video. Look at the composure and pass to start this play out, then the brilliance of hoilett and Laryea on this play. Laryea was MOTM. Really good effort. Too bad David hit the post on this play.
  23. That was about as good as loss could possibly feel. Down to 10 mean early. Really dumb by Mark Anthony Kaye. We concede a goal and down a man dominate the play and create so many great scoring chances. How many posts and crossbars do you have to hit to get a goal. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Costa Rica qualify. Given the US MEX tie and the Panama tie we are in great position to beat Jamaica, clinch the world cup and still finish the top of the Concacaf table. Ritchie Laryea, MOTM. Hoilett looked good coming on. Ismael Kone. This kid is going to be a star!
