    Kirk catching Ray again today. The Ray whisperer. More evidence that Kirk breaks camp with the big club.

    I support the Yankees and if they decide to forfeit the game and give the Jays the W, they should not have to play in Dunedin. If they don't want to forfeit the games, they should shut their pieholes and show up and play. It's the same for both teams.

    Yeah Lebron bought 2% of Liverpool for 4.7 Million pounds in 2011. The valuation since then has skyrocketed. I'm guessing Fenway sports just transferred that ownership stake now worth 52 million to a percentage of all that Fenway Sports owns, which includes the Red Sox.

    If Tellez hits Randall will be sitting too. They will split time. Randall will be on the opening day lineup. At this point we know what Randall is. With Tellez there is some upside.

    Jonathan Davis is quietly having a nice spring. 20 plate appearances and only 2 strike out with 3 walks and 2 stolen bases. For a guy who's probably the best defensive outfielder and best base runner there doesn't seem to be any at bats for him to see what he's got or further his development. Injuries could change that, but I feel really good having him as a 5th outfielder who can pinch run and play defense late in games.

    Ray has looked really encouraging. His velocity has been good and got squeezed on a couple of his walks. He's been really good. I don't want to look too much into spring training. There's always hope this time of year. Fingers crossed though.

    Man..maybe Manoah is our quick to the majors stud starter! It's a shame we lost a minor league season last season.

    Knowing how competitive Romano is, he's probably pissed he gave up the no hitter. 3 strike outs probably wasn't enough for him...lol

    Robbie Ray filling up the zone. Biggio with a double. Our starting catcher for this year, yes I said this year! Kirk with an RBI single.

    Only 10 players have one 3 or more cy youngs. 7 are in the hall. Scherzer and Kershaw are the other ones. They will both make it. Clemens is the last one. Degrom could win a couple more cy's and you'd have a 4 time cy young winner! Talent vs counting stats...does Degrom make it?

    degrom will be the interesting case. He started late, doesn't have the win totals but if he remains dominant for the next 4 or 5 years I don't see how you could keep him out of the hall.

    What's the deal with Trent thornton. Is he still hurt or is he in camp throwing?

    Fun Alejandro Kirk facts. In the minors he struck out 60 times in 616 PA 9.7% of the time. He walked 89 times or 14.4% of the time. At the MLB level last year he had 28 PA. He struck out 4 times. Granted he only walked once. In 20 spring training PA last year and this year combined, Kirk has 5 walks 7 hits and 0 strike outs!

    3 weeks is different than 3 months. You had Kirk help you get there last year and he was on the playoff roster. Getting 8 playoff runs out of a player is asking a bit much. If we miss the playoffs by 1 or 2 games players and fans would be pissed by holding Kirk out half a season. It isn't even good for his development....there's no AAA in April.

    It's almost 3 months he has to sit out. You put the best team forward to win in a year in which you expect to win. It's beyond unfair to Kirk and the rest of the players on this team.

    Only you could cheer for a guy to fail so we can get an extra year of control in 2027.

    They let Kirk catch Ryu in the sim game. Catching Ryu is like solving a sphynx riddle. All signs point to Kirk starting with the Jays IMO and McGuire being cut loose. He will split catching duties with Jansen 50/50. If Jansen can't keep up Kirk will take the full time job and catch 70% of the games the second half.
