  1. Towers was the Jays best pitcher in 2005. He was awful in 2006 yes, though for the money he was making, he provided solid value over the 4-5 years he was here as a back of the rotation starter.
  2. Wil Myers and a SP2 for Harper and MiLB pick

    Gibbers would be pissed.
  5. Guys I think you are all being really tough on JP. He had a tough season last year and everyone of you got on him. He's a great clubhouse guy, has a great personality and has the desire to win. He's still young and has the potential to hit 30 home runs as a catcher, which in my opinion is extremely valuable and makes up for his so/so defense behind the plate. His raw power is out of this world. ---------------------- That was extremely painful to say ^ I want to punch JPA in the face.
  6. I like Jesse Chavez as a reliever, though as a starter I don't see how he'll be effective. Well probably pitching in Oakland, he'll produce decent results and I'm sure he can have a Chad Gaudin type season. If he was a starter in Toronto, he'd be destroyed.
  7. Yes especially in that ballpark.
  8. You just want to punch JPA in the face from all the stuff he says.
  9. Royals signed Brett Tomko to a minor league contract. Damn, where was AA on that one (sarcastic tone).
  10. Espinosa would be a terrific fit. He doesn't have a spot in Washington's lineup and has proven to be a player who could put up 2.5-3 WAR seasons. Plus he shouldn't cost that much in terms of talent. I'm still shocked he hasn't been a target.
  11. I expect Goldy to regress in 2014. Steamer and Zips projections are fairly accurate in my opinion. I'd likely more lean towards Steamer.
  12. I still shake my head after my friend Nick traded Goldy for Kyle Drabek in the FC league lol. One of the worst trades I'd say ever made in the history of fantasy baseball dynasty leagues.
  13. I'm looking forward to the switch from Pizza Pizza to Pizza Nova. AA: "We liked the deal Pizza Nova had to offer and their pizza slices are top notch. We might have had to overpay a bit to switch, though in the end we thought of the fan base and we couldn't pass up on the real Italian pepperoni! Bringing Pizza Nova aboard will help get this team closer to a championship."
  14. In a dynasty league, I still prefer Stanton to Goldy. He's two years younger and has accomplished more at a younger age than Goldy has. I love Goldy as well, though I doubt he maintains that BA and he likely peaked with his SB numbers the past two seasons.
  15. Toronto is a first class city compared to some s*** holes in the U.S. lol. I find the Toronto or playing in Canada excuse ridiculous. Baltimore and Atlanta are s*** holes - wouldn't want to be out on the town in those cities late at night.
  16. He didn't want to pitch in the AL East - simple as that. The Jays had the same offer on the table as the Braves, so you tell me.
  17. I am going. We should all meet up at Corks and go there after for some good beer!
  18. Buying us all a round of beers on the 5th?
  19. I hardly carry any cash as well. I use credit cards for all my purchases and collect a ton of reward miles, then pay off any purchases I made online. I had a free flight to Australia this January after collecting for 4-5 years.
  20. Yeah, I'll take Micah back thanks. He was the only decent prospect I took during the draft haha. No49, thank you for being considerate - a pint of beer is on me if your going to the game on the 5th.
  21. Sorry mate. Simple mistake typing his first name wrong, especially when making my selections on my phone since I was up north at the cottage. Also, under the commissioners notes, I think the last names of prospects just appeared, so it had 2B M. Johnson under my team. I didn't realize it in the spreadsheet until now since when I went through the waiver draft results and saw No49 took him. Plus it's hilarious that there's also a Michael Johnson who was in the White Sox organization and that he played 2B as well lol. Just googled that now.
  22. I put down Michal Johnson, spelt his name wrong - meant Micah. Then someone changed it during the draft to Michael Johnson.
