  1. Having two Bautista's (one playing RF and one playing 3B) is definitely unbelievable
  2. An outfield of Bautista, McCutchen and Marte! Edit: Also forgot Polanco lol. So I'm assuming Bautista would move to third or first. http://reactiongif.org/wp-content/uploads/GIF/2014/08/Fap-GIFS.gif
  3. It's always good to have a person to bounce ideas off of. I always bounce ideas off a couple of people sometimes, even on the board here for other leagues. Getting other opinions and input I think is very valuable.
  4. My bad thought it was a fan asking Elliot a question. That's hilarious that it was AA.
  5. Is that what Elliot said? lol
  6. I'd like a co-manager...sending an invite out to burlingtonbandit and ECJF!
  7. Yeah can't you say the same thing about the Pirates and Cincy on how they both traded Bautista and EE respectively?

  10. JFaS can co-manage with me if he'd like until a spot opens up...
  11. Napoli is available for a team in need of a 1B/DH bat. He didn't have the greatest year, though he still plays in a fantastic park, hits in the middle of the Red Sox lineup and provides a really strong .OBP which is extremely valuable in this league.
  12. I probably would have rather moved Trumbo instead of Belt.
  13. He even worked wonders with AJ Burnett those two seasons.

  15. Who do you replace Stroman and Sanchez with in the rotation though? You'd need a lot of money for Shields, and you suggesting bringing back Melky would also cost a lot of money. I could see Lowrie as a 2B option, though trading for Stanton (as much as I love him) wouldn't be rational for the Jays especially if they don't increase their payroll. In fantasy baseball, I'd trade Lawrie, Sanchez and Stroman for Stanton anyday of the week though
  16. I'd say a trade for Justin Upton would be more realistic since it would be easier and wouldn't cost as much as Stanton.
  17. C Navarro 1B Edwin Encarnacion 2B Asdrubal Cabrera SS Jose Reyes 3B Chase Headley RF Jose Bautista CF Anthony Gose LF Giancaro Stanton DH Adam Lind/Van Slyke SP Shields SP Dickey SP MB SP Hutch SP Happ AAA: Norris, Nolin, Drabek Not gonna happen, though that's what the team would roughly look like trading Lawrie, Stroman and Sanchez for Stanton. Plus you have to figure the Jays would need to sign a starter like Shields, a third baseman like Headley. Just don't see Stanton happening.
  18. Likely looking at Lawrie, Stroman and Sanchez I'd say.
  19. I'd like you as co-manager GD. It would be an honour to add your brain trust to the Triple Hawpe Brewed organization.
  20. I don't have a problem with Lind as a DH/1B. Just find another solid platoon partner, someone who can also play a position. A Lind/Van Slyke or Lind/Gomes platoon would be great. Though I'm sure we likely see Lind/Mayberry instead.
  21. I misunderstood your post, my bad.
  22. Your team finished in 5th during the regular season, mine finished in 7th.
  23. I just wanted to make the playoffs this season, since anything could happen in a one week matchup. Didn't expect to go far though I'd rather have a chance than sit outside the Top 8. After getting knocked out in the first round, I couldn't care what I did in the consolation rounds (whether I finished 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th). Doesn't matter because the goal at the end of the day is to win a championship. I like my team moving forward and my goal this offseason is to take my team to the next level.
