  1. Lets not get ahead of ourselves here.
  2. Biggest MLB Surprise: Phil Hughes and Wily Peralta - both have been a huge boost to my rotations thus far, never expected them to have pitched this well to start the year. Especially Hughes with his sick K/BB ratio. Biggest MLB Letdown: Shelby Miller - was hoping he'd take a step forward and be my No. 1 starter (kind of like how Teheran did this season), though hasn't worked out. He's still young and has a great arm, though really was counting on him to be my best pitcher. (Honorable mentions: Mike Minor, Carlos Beltran) Biggest MiLB Surprise: Robbie Ray - looks like he could be called upon again if the Tigers need another starter. Plus he was the big piece in the Fister trade so that tells you something Biggest MiLB Letdown: Travis d'Arnaud - ugh
  3. Look at the guys house...I wouldn't be complaining lol
  4. How many of those Top 50 become solid contributors at the MLB level?
  5. I'd like to see the Futures Game moved to the HR derby slot, or it would be cool to do a WBC exhibition game - lets say Canada vs. USA or Dominican vs. USA/North America etc.
  6. The home run derby won't last much longer. If top stars like Abreu, Cabrera, Trout are rejecting to participate then its going to lose money and viewership. It's become quite boring as well.
  7. Who does New York have to trade? Their farm system isn't that great to land a stud like Tulo.
  8. Also, I think you meant "fourth" catcher.
  9. Now, he's not needed though in the offseason he would have been welcomed as the No. 2 catcher. Many posters on here liked him as well. If I recall, he was a good framer.
  10. The Blue Jays should call themselves the San Francisco Blue Jays, even though they don't play in San Francisco.
  11. Cervelli would actually make a solid backup catcher.
  12. They should have signed Scott Downs instead...
  13. - 1.0 WAR this season He's been awful, though I'd rather him hitting against LHP then Brad Glenn.
  14. Depending on how long EE is out for, though you could be correct he'll likely get playing time against RHP as well.
  15. Solid years in 2009 and 2011 and was off to a hot start in 2012 before getting injured. As a platoon bat to hit against LHP, he's a great pickup.
  16. Great pickup. Always have liked Reimold - will be a good power bat to platoon Lind with.
  17. I've said McCarthy has been a very good pitcher this season, though I have to disagree on him being one of the best pitchers in baseball to date. It's absurd to rank him in a tier with Tanaka, Kershaw, Felix, Wainwright, Sale etc.
  18. They did steal him, not denying that. I would have loved to see the Jays trade Jenkins for him. But I don't consider McCarthy one of the best pitchers in baseball.
  19. I've been an avid McCarthy supporter and I know the advanced metrics show he hasn't been that bad, though to say he's been one of the best pitchers in the NL is going a bit far.
  20. The Jays should go out and get Justin Ruggiano.
  21. I only made two posts, one in the BBDL thread because that was the first one I saw, and then in this thread. Like seriously calm down.
  22. Look at the post above...I said I received messages on the pro board site. I usually check on the message board here. I now linked any pm's sent on the pro boards site to my email.

    NBA Thread

How about Kevin Durant? I hope OKC chokes in the playoffs again, and Im sure he'll want to move somewhere else.
  24. I'd like to see two teams in a dynasty league make a trade involving players traded in real life, though that would be tough to do. Never think I saw it happen.
  25. Felix Hernandez Clayton Kershaw Masahiro Tanaka Adam Wainwright Chris Sale 5 best starters in baseball right now
