  1. You get the sense he needs a change of scenery and maybe another team can help him unlock his potential. He might be able to realize his talent or might still be awful with a new organization. Surely some teams would gamble if they have a need in the OF and could pay 30-40 cents on the dollar. Cardinals haven't had luck with some of their top prospects recently. Dylan Carlson (traded for Shawn Armstrong) and Nolan Gorman both look like lost causes. You get the sense a team like Tampa, the Athletics or maybe Miami might roll the dice on Walker at some point.
  2. Let's hope we get the good Gausman tonight!
  3. Leading your DDL team to a 78-15 record thus far!
  4. Petco was one of my favourite ballparks I've visited. Definitely Top 3. Ballpark is in an excellent location as well, right next to the Gaslamp Quarters. Prefer San Diego as a city to chill and explore over LA everyday of the week!
  5. Must be awful weather in Minny. Two PPD games in a row yesterday and now today. Plus they still have to continue a suspended game from Monday lol.
  6. Watch him spin a no-hitter through the first 6 or so innings against us haha.
  7. Nice win to open up the series against the Padres! Took care of Cease for Game 1 and now just have Vasquez and Kolek. Avoided King and Pivetta at least!
  8. I don't consider myself an Orioles fanboy, though might have come across as one here previously. Always said they had a young and exciting core and I still think they do. As for their front office complementing that young core, they've done a very poor job to date and are wasting these prime years of having guys like Gunnar and Rutchman under club control. Definitely fumbling their opportunity to be perennial contenders. Makes you appreciate the ownership we have here in Toronto. At least we know Rogers will give the green light to spend on high end elite talent through free agency. Overall, I will accept my tarring and feathering in regards to the Orioles.
  9. I remember reading on this board at some point last season that Hunter Brown maybe wasn't that good lol.
  10. Gotta hit the Orioles opponents hard on the bet app now! You're going to cash in! Easy money!
  11. You don't need to sign Swanson to a multi-year extension at all right now lol. He likely would re-sign here on a cheap one-year deal anyways to build up his value. You want to see him pitch 60 or so innings in relief over a full season first before offering him any kind of multi-year extension.
  12. Padres coming to town this week, so going to be another tough team. Cease pitching for the Padres tomorrow night.
  13. You gotta replace those guys in fantasy baseball now!
  14. Definitely a good move in that scenario in order to prevent Ohtani from stealing signs.
  15. Orioles fire their manager Brandon Hyde lol.
  16. Yeah I don't think Santander will come close to hitting 44 HR's again and wasn't expecting that even at the time he signed his contract with the Jays. Expect him to be a 30-35 HR bat here, and that's fine with the contract the Jays gave him. Just gotta hope he doesn't turnout to be an Eddie Rosario and disappear off the face of the earth.
  17. Baltimore definitely regretting trading Kyle Stowers to the Marlins last July for Trevor Rodgers. Gotta love it!
  18. Many of the City Connect jerseys look awful. Only maybe a handful look cool. Toronto's is actually pretty decent in comparison to the rest of the teams in MLB haha. Would be nice if they came out with a lighter one. Also, like the Astros, Pirates, Braves, Padres, and Brewers,
