  1. There is a slight possibility of that happening - Yahoo is awful and they mess up all the time lol.

  3. When the Marlins get Jose Fernandez back, along with some of their other young arms developing and improving, they will a solid team that could contend in the NL East.
  4. RA Dickey MB Josh Johnson Brandon Morrow JA Happ Would that be a top starting 5 in the MLB? Oops, I forgot this isn't 2012!
  5. Keep dreaming.
  6. I'm expecting Gose to become Mike Trout...um never mind. I think a realistic option is like what ECJF fan said - if he becomes like a Juan Pierre with the bat, along with the D he provides in CF, I'd be more than happy.
  7. Pillar is just an org player. If he is named the starting left fielder for 2015, kiss your playoff hopes goodbye.
  8. JaysTalk on until midnight tonight, with special guest Eric Hinske joining Mike Wilner lol.
  9. Nope, I just said she was Julia Wilner lol. It could have been anyone! She is in no way related to Mike Wilner lol, I just came across a hot babe when googling Mike Wilner's name haha thats it.
  10. That's not Wilner's daughter, calm down lol. Oh man we another wanker on this board who is so up tight!
  11. Yeah your pitching carried you for the entire season! Just when I glanced at your roster, I couldn't believe how your team had done so well with guys like Butler, Jennings, Headley, Braun, Xander, Trumbo, Choo, Ramos all underachieving or with injuries. If those guys were playing to expectations, just imagine...
  12. Don't take this the wrong way, though how did your team make the playoffs with all those injuries and underachieving performances? Your pitching was rock solid though so I'm sure that was your biggest key. And you never had Abreu until the last week of August which makes it even more unbelievable.
  13. Wow somebody used a waiver claim on Rubby De La Rosa.
  14. I don't think she's related to Mike Wilner - I just typed his name on google and a pic of her showed up from pinterest or something lol. She's pretty hot though.

  18. I agree, just stating the rationale behind Wilner's argument. It seems like young arm prospects are always in demand, more than positional player prospects to an extent. If you trade them at the right time, and maximize on their value - thats ideal. For example, Aaron Sanchez probably right now is at his highest value. If Sanchez goes out next year and goes all Bauer out of the rotation, his value takes a big hit.
  19. Interesting read: http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/2014-trade-value-the-top-10/
  20. It depends. His argument does have some rationale. I'd rather have multitude of cheap young arms and if time came to shove to spend on free agency, I'd rather spend money on the bats rather than arms. It depends. Not every positional player pans out - look at Beckham, Snider, Ackely, Montero, Hermida, etc. I think young arms like a Sanchez or Stroman would have more trade value than lets say a hitting prospect like Nick Castellanos in real life.
  21. $12M AAV is very reasonable, though do you think he holds that value later on in the deal? He's going to be 32 next season.
