  1. Let's hope they can visit Canada!
  2. Moore for sure. Give the Jays a left-handed arm in the bullpen who can pitch multiple innings. Also, I would roll the dice on Leclerc as well.
  3. He's only 30-years-old and I give him a mulligan the past two seasons because of the Covid shortened season and him going through colon cancer treatment. He'll rake in Houston.
  4. Buy tickets the day of before the game. Will be cheaper. Beautiful ballpark. Anywhere you sit should be fine. Upper levels are decent as well.
  5. Scott Barlow from KC would be a nice get for the BP. Also like Matt Moore from Texas as well. Jon Gray would be interesting though doubt the Rangers trade him after just signing him.
  6. Mahle would be nice, but he can't come to Canada unfortunately. I'm sure also this has impacted other players/pitchers the Jays would target as well. Jays should try to beef up the bullpen and go after a No. 4 or 5 starter for depth purposes. They'll be fine with a rotation of Gausman, Manoah and Berrios in a short series. Need to get some high K relievers.
  7. He'll hit well in Houston. Mancini hit 35 HR's in 2019 and his bat is starting to heat up. The Covid shortened 2020 season along with battling colon cancer, Mancini has gone through a lot the past two-three years.
  8. He's still a solid bat who can play a corner OF/1B or DH with some pop. He hit 35 HR's with a .899 OPS in 2019. He'll fit well in Houston.
  9. Because Jackie Bradley Jr sucks!
  10. Thought you had Cole and Severino (if he comes back which looks likely) as #1 and #2.
  11. A lineup of Soto, Goldy and Arenado! Yikes!
  12. Are the Orioles selling or buying? I know they moved Mancini to the Astros, though wonder if that means guys like Lopez, Lyles, Tate are available.
  13. How about Nestor Cortes? Yes it doesn't raise the bar much in terms of the Yankees most recent acquisitions agreed, though makes their roster a lot deeper in case injuries happen and also keeps an arm like Montas away from the Blue Jays or another contender.
  14. LMAO this thread. Trade deadline is tomorrow, so everyone relax. You know the Yankees were going to acquire talent at the trade deadline. Stop acting surprised and shocked. Also, because of Canada's strict COVID policy, who knows if someone like Scott Effross was even someone the Jays could target. There are still a lot of big names out there like Rodon, Cobb, Kelly as starters, and some solid BP arms available as well. Atkins has been active at the trade deadlines the past two seasons, so I'm not worried about the Blue Jays standing pat.
  15. His last 14 games, he's issued 10 BB in 13.2 innings. He's hit a rough stretch.
  16. Joc Pederson!
  17. The implosion for Clay Holmes is coming at the right time for the Yankees with a huge division lead rather than in the Postseason haha. They'll give him time to right the ship. Even still with his numbers recently, he's been rock solid (1.77 ERA, 2.59xFIP and a 1.1 WAR).
  18. I dropped Pineda in another dynasty league I'm in since I had no IL slots left. I looked at his numbers and geez they were awful. 4.25K/9 this season I believe. I think he's done.
  19. Joc Pederson would be a nice LH bat to add and can play CF. Giants lost Estrada yesterday, so I think they have to be in sell mode with the latest spiral they're in. I like your idea of adding a lefty starter for depth purposes and using them for the BP after. Smyly can be a guy for sure if the Jays went that route. Even Alex Wood from San Fran would be a better target IMO.
  20. It's a shame. Coors Field is an awesome ballpark and one of my favourites!
  21. Yeah his contract is very favorable. Another 9M for 2023 and a 10M team option in 2024. I guess durability and age are the only concerns and he doesn't have the upside like Rodon has, but the contract is amazing. It's too bad the Blue Jays couldn't sign him last offseason instead of Kikuchi haha.
  22. They really have been stuck in a rut after the All Star break and look lost as a team right now. They've lost 7 of their last 8 games, and they have been playing teams like the D'Backs and Cubs, which they should be capitalizing on. If they lose the series against the Cubs and fall further back, they have to be selling IMO. Joc Pederson, their best power bat, is on the IL as well right now. Rodon would be a perfect fit in the Blue Jays rotation. Alex Cobb might be also available as well and come cheaper. They also have some intriguing BP arms that wouldn't cost too much like Domenic Leone, John Brebbia, and Tyler Rogers.

  24. This is why another OF isn't a bad idea for depth purposes, unless you want Tapia starting a lot!
