  1. Adam Lind in 2009 looked legit. What happened afterwards? Injuries, struggles against LHP, never made adjustments. Him and Aaron Hill both had monster years in 2009.
  2. If he wanted to come back as a reliever but doubt it.
  3. Pablo López was one of the four prospects traded to the Marlins for David Phelps. Damn.
  4. Lineup is going to be different on a day-to-day basis most likely anyways, based on pitching matchups, who's hot, injuries etc. Especially given the Jays depth this season.
  5. I'm more worried about Varsho missing out on doubles and missing out scoring from first to home or second to home etc with guys like Kirk on the bases ahead of him. But yeah, Kirk based on the way he hit last season should be getting a lot of ABs and hitting near the top of the lineup. Lineups are going to vary day-to-day anyways depending on who is starting and who's hot. Kirk isn't starting 150 games anyways. At the end of the day, it shouldn't be a major issue as long as guys are producing.
  6. In an ideal world, you don't want guys like Kirk and Belt clogging up the bases ahead of guys like Varsho. Definitely will be interesting to see how the lineup rolls.
  7. Doesn't even include if they signed Correa haha
  8. Yeah the trade route could be an option. Grichuk wouldn't be that bad actually haha. Wonder what the Rockies would want in return.
  9. I would love to see the Jays sign Danny Duffy. Fills both roles as a possible No. 5 starter and lefty reliever. Probably could sign him for $4-5 million along with incentives.
  10. Yeah I think if they bring in any RHB, it's on a minor league deal. Don't see them spending $7-8 million on one and most of the good options (Duvall, Cutch) are off the market now anyways.
  11. Maybe Chad Pinder on a minor league deal? Profar still available. Not sure he has a huge market since a contending team likely doesn't want to use him as a starter. He probably has to sign with an awful team for a guaranteed spot in the lineup or settle as a super utility guy where he can see himself carve out 400 ABs with a contender.
  12. Yeah good opportunity for him to build some value. He'll hit 30 HR's if he stays healthy.
  13. Catalanotto was one of my favourite players back in the day. Had such a beautiful swing.
  14. Every restaurant's daily special is the leftover food from the previous night. That's why never order the special haha.
  15. Yeah Cleveland had some great food and beer selections I remember. Even some nice fan gathering areas as well. Would be nice if concessions and beer were a bit cheaper, but that will never happen.
  16. I just picked up Junior Fernandez in the LOD
  17. I sent in my resume and cover letter. Used Spanky as a reference.
  18. They had some decent food stalls on the 100 level like near the RF foul pole (Muddy Yorks I believe) and near the bar behind the home plate area where they served brisket sandwiches. But yeah very underwhelming for a ballpark. Some ballparks in the US like Petco or Minute Maid just blow Rogers Centre away when it comes to food and beer haha.
  19. Rogers Centre has a better beer selection than Scotia Arena at least haha.
  20. Shocked Boston hasn't signed him yet.
  21. A lot of seats available for the Seattle and Braves series still. Canada Day and games that weekend usually always sell out quickly, right after the Home Opener. Still a lot of seats available, just checked.
  22. Home Opener looks sold out. Only single seats available. A lot of tickets for the second game of the season haha.
  23. Do you need tickets for those spaces or can you just go with any ticket?
  24. The fan gathering spaces in the outfield look really nice.
  25. I always love Club 200 infield either third base or first base side. Smaller concourse than 100 and 500 levels, so makes it better for concessions and washroom lineups. As well, the views are great as well.
