  1. Bumgarner from 2010 to 2016 was looking legendary especially in the Postseason. Since he signed with Arizona, he's been really awful.
  2. Yeah would add those two in there for sure. Only other guy I could think of maybe Adam Wainwright, but when looking back between 2015-2019 he was awful for a couple of years and missed some time because of injuries. Turned his career around, but he was never able to stay as dominant as Verlander or Scherzer into his late 30's. He's been really solid the past three seasons but nothing elite. If Cole continues to pitch at an elite level into his late 30's like Verlander/Scherzer and reaches 70 WAR for his career, definitely a first ballot Hall of Famer.
  3. Also, now MLB TV there is no yearly subscription like before? Payments are monthly now instead? Works out to $37 CAD per month taxes in.
  4. Yup, that's what Postseason caliber teams need to do. Beat up on the weaker teams to grow leads in the standings. Definitely going to help them if they hit a rough stretch or lose a couple of series to divisional rivals.
  5. 109 pitches as well, so was good to see him grind out that start.
  6. Yeah but I've never seen a pitcher with buttons on his belt to relay which pitch is coming to the catcher. Is it because he has so many pitches and because of the pitch clock?
  7. Yup and even their run differential. I know it's the first week of the season but damn.
  8. It's only been a week. The Pirates are 5-2.
  9. Who knows if he wanted to be extended last season at that time when he was struggling? Probably wanted to wait until he was having another season like his 2021 season.
  10. Was watching the game. They also lead the league in HR's with 17 or 18 I believe lol.
  11. Yeah he was okay today and settled in after that rough first which was nice, but still 5 BB which is a bit concerning. Not a clean start by any stretch.
  12. Is Bassitt one of the few pitchers in baseball who calls his own pitches?

    NHL Thread

    Yeah I agree.
  14. I hope Terminator gets his inbox filled with Jonathan Villar trade offers.
  15. From Wikipedia: On November 12, 2010, Encarnacion was claimed off waivers by the Oakland Athletics. On December 2, he was non-tendered by the Athletics, making him a free agent.[12] On December 16, 2010, he signed a one-year deal with the Blue Jays worth $2.5 million, with a club option worth $3.5 million in 2012. So technically he was a FA signing haha
  16. Ok thanks. So have to signup for a new subscription again.
  17. Was yours renewed automatically? I recall previous seasons I always was renewed but not this season.
  18. Did anyone get MLB TV this season? They never renewed my subscription which is weird, but was contemplating anyways whether to get it or not again this season.
  19. And if he sucks the next 3 years after this, wonder if you will change your mind.
  20. A bunch of amateurs I tell you.
  21. The bigger question we have to ask is why was Dodd available in the FA pool? He should have been drafted during the prospect draft. All you guys know nothing about prospects. Someone like Dodd should already be rostered. It's embarrassing.
  22. Jays -210 on Moneyline today.
