Big win for the Leafs. Was watching the game and they definitely pulled out a tough grueling win. Hope they can take care of business in Game 4 and come back to Toronto and clinch in Game 5.

They had some good teams in the early part of the last decade. Need to build up some more pitching. Could be a opening in the NL Central over the next couple of seasons. If the Brewers lose both Burnes and Woodruff as FAs, they won't be as good. St. Louis is getting older. Cubs are heading in the right direction, and the Reds could be as well. Pirates definitely can make some noise.

He's definitely one of the few baseball stars I would pay to see! When the Angels come to town and if he's pitching, I would definitely splurge to buy good seats.

Gallen is a stud. D'Backs could use another power bat or two in their lineup. Their offense has been meh this season.

What do you expect when the Stanley Cup Finals are being played at the end of June? NHL Playoffs are fun, especially during the first round like you said. You'll definitely have a lot of thrilling games. But yeah, you can tell as you go into the later rounds teams do become exhausted and the games are slower paced. It definitely is more of a physical game.

Agree 100% with everything you said. I don't want to hear guys like Mike Wilner after a loss or blowing a game using the excuse, "it's still early." We saw in the AL East that doesn't apply and even more this season. Every game this month is as important as a game in September. -

Jays have a chance at winning the division still. As long as another team doesn't runaway with it like how the Yankees did in the first half last season and if the Jays don't dig themselves too much in a hole. Rays should cool down, but lets hope they don't do what the Yankees did last season in the first half. Jays at 11-8 considering how underwhelming their rotation has been isn't that bad. I'll take that. Better than being 8-11 which is what they could be. -
The surroundings of Vancouver are pretty populated. Cities such as Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Langley, White Rock, and Abbotsford. Add that up, you get 2.6 million. Kamloops, Kelowna and Victoria are short flights but driving can be far. Toronto alone has 2.7M. The GTA overall has around 6.2M. That doesn't include Hamilton, Kitchener, Cambridge or St. Catherines, which probably are an additional 1M and aren't that far of drives as well. So you probably have a little over 7 million people all within an hour or so from Toronto.

D'Backs have a chance to win the division or a Wild Card spot this season. Can't afford running him out there every 5th day, so smart move. He's been awful since signing in Arizona. I'm sure he'll get another chance somewhere like Dallas Keuchel did, but I think his days as a Major League pitcher are over.

Taiwanese love baseball, but mainland China not so much. Koreans and Japanese, but they don't make up a majority of Vancouver's Asian population.

Factor in the GTA population. Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Newmarket, Oshawa etc. A lot more people in the GTA versus the greater Vancouver area. Also, larger cities closer by like Ottawa or Montreal that are 5 hour driving distance.

Vancouver is 7th. Even Ottawa and Mississauga have larger populations than Vancouver. Greater Vancouver Area however different story. Around 2.6 million people but still less than Toronto.

BC Place isn't ideal agreed. They would need to build a new ballpark downtown somewhere. Vancouver would be a better option than Montreal IMO.

If they build a ballpark on the waterfront in St. Petersburg or in downtown Tampa, would be a lot better.

I agree as well. Montreal failed and would take a lot for MLB to go back to that city. Plus the Blue Jays pretty much dominate the Canadian market anyways.

Montreal needs a new ballpark downtown. Again, to attract casuals, will want the ballpark to be near great bars/restaurants, along the river and easy to get to. Ballpark will have to be like Seattle's or Houston's where the roof can open or close, but allow enough natural light in. In terms of winning, yes most Montreal fans will go to the games and pay if the team is winning. If the team doesn't have a dedicated ownership looking to win a World Series, attendance even with a new ballpark will be an issue.

Portland has its issues as does every major city. Yes Portland over the last couple of years has seen a steady rise in homelessness, drug use and shoplifting. Those are the facts. Will it stop the MLB from moving a baseball team there? Likely not. They still have teams in Detroit and Baltimore which are far worse.

Figured Las Vegas would be a choice with hockey and football thriving, though the only downside will be in the summer months tourism isn't as high as in the winter months, and most baseball games will have to be at night since Vegas is more of a nightlife city. Can't have 1PM or 3PM start times haha. Nashville will likely be the second option. Baseball definitely will work there IMO. Montreal won't get another team IMO unless they announce they will build a new ballpark downtown somewhere.
