Yeah it's tough going up against a 49ers defense like that for sure. He's only won two playoff games in his seven year career.
  2. Todd was a great troll.

Dallas isn't a SuperBowl worthy team and Dak is extremely overrated. Would have been nice if it was the Bills vs. the Chiefs next weekend but oh well. Next week matchups look great!
  4. Just ignore him. What ever happened to Todd? Or are they one and the same?

Damn that interception hurts. Those last two plays for the Cowboys.

They showed the replay just now and they said even if it wasn't blocked, the kick looked like it was going to go left.

Yeah I think they can beat Kansas City again next week. I bet $10 on Cincy to Win/Place a couple weeks ago. Got +800 odds.

Can the Cowboys upset the 49ers?

Their D was awful today. Couldn't stop the Bengals running game and passing game.

Buffalo needs to get their act together in the second half.
  11. Looking forward to the WBC, though do you think it helps players and pitchers or hurts them more before the regular season?
  12. Marlins are going to waste their talented SPs on a slap hitting offense with no defense. It's very unfortunate. They could be a sleeper team with their rotation. Just need to make some upgrades to that lineup.
  13. Kim Ngs favourite video on YouTube
  14. Maybe they trade an arm for a bat at some point. But yeah no impact bats left on the FA market. Profar actually would be a good fit. Can play everywhere and likely gets ABs in that lineup and plays on somewhat of a contender.
  15. Twins need Buxton and Correa to stay healthy for a good chunk of the season if they want to have a chance at winning the division. They also have other nice pieces in the lineup mentioned above like Polanco, Kepler, Miranda, Lewis. Pitching wise, they have a lot of great depth and inning eaters, though you don't really see a No. 1 or 2 starter in that rotation. Unless Lopez and Mahle take that next step. I still like Cleveland better in that division, but the Twins should be a second place team and could give them a run at the division possibly if things break right.
  16. Mariners pick up La Stella on a 1-year deal. Giants paying most of his 11.5M salary in 2023, so not bad at all.
  17. Open up a cigar room at the Rogers Centre!
  18. Cubs were successful with going after Lester before they contended. Though agree, there were some question marks with the top arms available this offseason and if the O's didn't want to throw out huge contracts to someone like Rodon or DeGrom, that's defensible. They could have went after guys a tier below possibly, but not the end of the world.
  19. From an optics and PR perspective, signing Ryu was good for the Jays at the time. They never spent big money on a FA under Atkins/Shapiro. Other players see the Blue Jays ownership are willing to spend and improve during free agency. Makes Toronto a more attractive landing spot. The fanbase also sees ownership is willing to spend, which definitely helps and also can bring in more new fans as well.
  20. Ryu was kind of their first big offseason signing, so it showed other teams that players wanted to come here and that the Jays meant business when it came to improving the roster. Ryu paved the way for Springer & Semien afterwards, Gausman, etc. Though yeah, Ryu had no impact whatsoever on the roster in terms of the Post Season, other than in 2020. None of those guys brought in that offseason had any impact whatsoever.
  21. A lot of the elite SPs this offseason had some question marks when it came to durability & health like DeGrom and Rodon or age when it came to Verlander. Even some of the middle tier guys. Would rather spend big money on Aaron Nola over those arms mentioned above. Though still the Orioles could have made some other moves to help compliment their young roster. Bassitt, Stripling, Anderson, and Quintana would have been nice arms to add.
  22. Aaron Nola and Julio Urias are FAs in 2024. Blake Snell and Lucas Giolito as well. Scherzer has an opt out I believe. Not much in terms of hitters other than Ohtani and Machado likely opts out. Chapman available, Hoskins, Teoscar, lead the pack after. Orioles can definitely make a big splash or two next offseason. If they sign an arm like Nola and bring back Machado, you can say it was worth waiting one more year to spend big. If they don't add anyone of significance, then yeah.
  23. Game 2 was one of the worst Jays games I watched. Also, the game Halladay got hit by a line drive by Kevin Mench in 2005 stung. Doc looked like he was on his way to another Cy Young that season. I would say one of the games I went to in 2008 at Yankee Stadium, Jays were leading and Jason Giambi hits a walk-off two run shot off BJ Ryan in the bottom of the 9th. I was the only Jays fan in my section and it was my first Jays game on the road.
  24. $20 cocktails! Spanky and the Hurl are buying!
  25. Yeah Orioles had a very disappointing offseason. Thought they were going to add an impact player or pitcher. Red Sox will probably be last in the division. For them to even sniff a Wildcard, pretty much everything for them has to go right like Laika said earlier.
