  1. I don't think anyone is as "mad" as you right now when it comes to talking about DeJong and Espinal haha. All Jay and BigC were saying is that Espy could have been optioned in order to keep some more depth, which isn't a bad thing. DeJong is better defensively, has hit LHP well throughout his career and does have some pop. Rosters expand in almost over a week anyways, so Espy could have been brought back up. It's not like sending Espy down for 7 to 10 days would have hurt the Jays offensively lol.
  2. I bet if the Jays actually kept DeJong and optioned Espy, Metafour would definitely be on board and support the decision 110%!
  3. He looked good in the 2nd inning. Imagine where this team would be without Kikuchi this season. He's really stepped up and has been a huge piece to the rotation. I know he sucked a lot last year but kudos to Atkins. Hope we get this Kikuchi again in 2024!
  4. Glad to see Varsho starting to heat up at the plate. The Jays really need his bat down the stretch!
  5. ROAD TRIP to Baltimore! Lets go! Spanky buying everyone $18 USD beers!
  6. If Stangstag wants to share the offers or is okay with us sharing, I have no problem. I think I made a competitive offer but yeah it's not always easy moving an elite player or pitcher no matter how good the offer is.
  7. You changed your avatar!
  8. I used ChatGPT to send out offers and negotiate for me.
  9. Guys like Kirby, Miller, and Woo have already reached their career highs in innings, so it's possible they start to fade in September. We'll see.
  10. Headline at end of September: "DeJong's hot September propels Giants into the Postseason."
  11. Some team was going to pick him up for depth and insurance, especially for down the stretch. Giants usually do well with these types of pickups. Wilmer Flores, JD Davis etc.
  12. Could have used Judge now lol.
  13. I'll go with Belt
  14. I'm going to bet the Orioles tonight. If the Jays win, I'll be happy which will ease the burden of losing a couple of dollars. If the Orioles win, I'll be sad the Jays lost but at least the winnings will heal the wounds.
  15. $18 USD is even more than what they charge at the Rogers Centre. Crazy!
  16. Beer prices go from $10 to $15 now.

Raptors are going to suck this year. 30-35 wins max.
  18. It's safe to bet the Mariners now on Bet365!
  19. Imagine if Ray was healthy this season as well. That's one fantastic rotation.
  20. Kerry Carpenter with another HR tonight. That's 7 home runs in 10 games. Crazy!
  21. If nobody claims him, he could be sent to Buffalo?
  22. Looking to make a big splash for a No. 1/2 starter. Open to adding a big bat as well, but prefer a top arm. If I was adding a bat, would like it to be a SS or CF. Also, wouldn't mind adding a C who is playing more than d'Arnaud if a deal is out there. Can move any of the following players, prospects and picks: 1B Vinnie Pasquantino 1B/OF Ryan O'Hearn 2B/3B David Schneider SS Zach Neto CF Lars Nootbaar C Ivan Herrera C Edgar Quero 3B Mark Vientos SP Robbie Ray SP Quinn Priester SP Jared Shuster 1st Round Pick 2nd Round Pick 3rd Round Pick
  23. He only moved one of them lol.
  24. If they don't resign any of their top young players to extensions, they likely will have a 4-5 year window of being competitive still before they all become FA's. This year with everything clicking, they should have added more at the deadline, especially another top starter. They should have went after Verlander or Mad Max at least. Things from year-to-year can change in baseball. Players regress, get injured and miss significant time etc. Need to take advantage now, not 3-4 years down the road when these guys will almost be FAs.
  25. That's a nice blazer he's wearing. Chris Davis knows his fashion.
