Let's face it, with the results of the draft order selection process being hidden, there's no chance at all of us getting the first overall choice. If I remember correctly, the selection is done off-camera.
I'm watching Bo tonight and saw him yesterday and something weird: he "broke" the finger on his right hand. Okay. But he keeps letting his fingers hang below his wrist. If you've ever broken a finger you know it would be throbbing doing that. Hmm, is this for real?
There should be a huge turnover in the roster this offseason. I'd expect to add 3 relievers, a catcher, 3b, and a LF. The dh can rotate among several players.
I'd say the playing right thing could include the team not having any defensive concentration. That move where Horiwitz after not spending much time lately at 2b was played there and made one of the worst throws. I'd say that was a bad play by management. That seemed to be playing the game wrong.
I know he's not good enough right now at 2b for a .500+ team, but I still think he could find his way. Enough that he could be okay at 2b, he'll never be a Robbie Alomar type. Maybe Tommy Herr?
Not sure I'd agree, we could use the starters. Two Yariels would be fine, one as a long reliever. All of these 5 inning pitchers require long relief. And maybe two high leverage type relievers. That would do the pitching. Now just add a big bat for LF-DH
I thought one of the main reasons was to make the pitcher see what was working against the hitters they'd have to face the next day and what was absolutely not working. But I guess the pitching coordinators do all of that now.
