  1. I mean, if you're not gonna pitch Fluharty with a 5 run lead... when are ya gonna use him?
  2. Seems to me he's being deployed about as perfectly as he can be so far.
  3. Surprisingly, Roden would likely also. He's only .3 ft/sec slower than Gimenez.
  4. I agree, but the platinum glove guy should have at least knocked it down and not let it go through even if he couldn't make the miracle play at 1b
  5. Lucas was disgusting tbh. In complete control of everything from start to finish
  6. Kinda have to put that on Gimenez. Got the ground ball....
  7. You're touchy tonight. It's Terminator. 90% of his posts are 100% trolling at least 40% of the time while simultaneously containing about 25% truth.
  8. Davy is probably furiously completing that article as we speak for posting first thing tomorrow morning.
  9. Cora has Crochet up, nearing 100 pitches, often injured and no history of going deep into games long term, has nobody warming up...not a peep of criticism. Schneider has Lucas in, a guy with nearly 0 starts in the major leagues, at 72 pitches in a close game, never seen any order 3 times through, and is getting criticized for HYPOTHETICALLY having someone up and ready... even when there's nobody up and throwing and he's doing exactly what the mouth breathers think should be happening. Do you people wonder why nobody takes your opinions seriously?
  10. I mean...it was reasonable to expect a slight bounce back... but he really looks good. Like, not just getting lucky but good numbers under the hood too.
  11. Not sure how long Lucas is gonna last before the league figures him out, but damn...he's pure found money right now
  12. I don't mind the bunt there, but ffs Roden must have missed the "don't bunt it straight at the charging third basememan" sign
  13. Almost as ironic as the dude I saw at university today taking his smoke break right beside the Cancer Centre admitting doors.
  14. Maybe the miserable weather levels the playing field a bit and Crochet won't have his usual stuff. One can hope...
  15. Hagen Danner was DFA by Seattle and cleared waivers, outrighted to their AAA team.
  16. Easy challenge win. Lets get a few runs now please.
  17. Juiced sold the site for 3 billion dollars to the new owner and is now sipping margarita's on a beach in Mexico for the rest of his life. Anyone that was on the old board migrated here too. the change was pretty seamless.
  18. AAV still counts against the luxury tax regardless of front or back loading. Front vs backloading doesn't make much difference when you're a luxury tax spending team
  19. There's more guys on the Jays hitting singles than a Dr. Dinger weekend house party.
  20. Time for Vlad to show up and show why Ed paid him.
  21. He could have walked for a comp pick. That's probably worse As much as the length and overall value of the contract isn't ideal, there is a value in having a cornerstone in place who could potentially end up in the HoF of he pulls his head out of his ass. All those depth pieces that sign elsewhere on shorter deals could be looking the Jays way in the future. What remains to be seen is if this impacts the higher tiers of players choosing TO as a destination now that there's some certainty in the face of the franchise
