Yeah, I mean.... Gimenez is far from the ideal cleanup hitter, but, as far as that lineup is concerned... may as well. Bo, Vlad, Santander 1-2-3 is about as easy to pencil in as it gets. They're 100% correct that hitting Kirk directly ahead of Gimenez pretty much kills 90% of Gimenez value as a baserunner, so he has to hit ahead of Kirk instead and the way Kirk is hitting you want him top 5 for sure.
Springer is clearly being given the signals that he needs to figure his s*** out quick.
Really would put Wagner or Roden as cleanup early on given their lack of experience, but... obviously that could change early on if either one breaks out. SO with Kirk needing to be top 5 and Gimenez having to hit ahead of him... that leaves cleanup. Also a very easy decision to swap him out with either Roden or Wagner is either one of them starts off hot.
Clement in the bottom 3 is where he should be.
Wonder where they gonna stick Varsho when he comes back. He's much more of a power threat that anyone else of the roster, but that swing/miss is as much of a rally kill as anything too.
The real plus of this lineup now is they are stacked with decent LHH options against RHP and can still be defensively sound up the middle.
