    I get what you're saying here. Most fans just want to see the team win. Winning is fun. Ya know, it's like...better than losing? But at the same time, if I had to watch 162 games of 3-2, 2-1, 3-0 ball games where it took 3+ singles mixed in with a walk and a bunt to score 1 run, because people keep getting erased on the bases due to idiocy, I'd stop watching. To me. That's not entertaining. Now. I'm not saying that every game needs to be 10-8 either, just that chicks dig the long ball, not the oppo slap single and sac bunt. Somehwere in between is nice

    Agreed. Kirk is one of the few guys in the majors who could ground out unassisted to the 2B.

    It really makes ya think what the FO is doing with prospect development. It's obvious they are prioritizing elite contact over power cfor the most part, and trying to get power to the guys with the elite contact rather than trying to teach contact to the elite power guys. Nimmala probably being the recent exception... like, who else have they drafted in the past ... 10 seasons near the top of the draft that had the power tool as their calling card? Orelvis as the international signee comes to mind... but that's about it.
