  1. Exit Velocity 110.7mph + Launch Angle25 deg = Distance 415 ft and Yankees tears.
  2. I need to see the Yankees forums right now... PLEASE
  3. Yesavage saw Schlittler's 8 IP, 12K performance the other day..... "Hold my beer..."
  4. Literally every PA where theres even a remote chance to do damage that affects the outcome. Make someone else beat you.
  5. Sox just got their Schlitt pushed in. Quite the playoff debut by the rook.
  6. It would be the height of stupidity to put Bo in the batters box without both his legs under him.
  7. Isnt that what aces are for?
  8. Tarp off counter: Springer, D. Schneider, Varsho
  9. Any side bets on which Blue Jay goes streaking first?
  10. And they have as many guys on the 60 day IL. You never want a full 40 man in the offseason
  11. Gotta love Sportsnet not censoring the clubhouse party. Fan-fcking-tastic
  12. "Tarp off, police horse, let's f***ing go!" - George Springer 2025 while being interviewed in his underwear on national TV Muni's bush party quote just got moved to 2nd place in legendary Blue Jay quotes history
  13. So nice not to have a sphincter-clenching clincher. Clutch!
  14. we know they have access to the system since they can review PAs on those Ipads in the dugout, it's just a matter of how quick they get it. I very much doubt it's in real time.
  15. Yw. Its likely just a numbers game, they have X number of guys on the 60 and only X number of pending FAs and obvious punts. Combine that with the arb raise he would have got, and likely only be in the minors, spend the 4-5m elsewhere
  16. There is no 60 day dl in the offseason. When the season is over anyone on the 60 day IL has to be re-added to the 40 man roster if there's room, or DFA. 60 day IL comes back right around spring training start or shortly before.
  17. Lots of possibilities. It's still really small sample size, but i wonder what the numbers are from hitters on teams in the first few games of the DS after they had the bye and the other team had to play consistently through the WC. Or for hitters teams who had long layoffs between the DS and CS, or CS and WS.
  18. Fixing it is actually really easy, they just have to stop reviewing the call made, and just review the play as if no call has been made. All they need to look for is proof that an out should be called and in the absence of that, the review should call the play safe. Whatever language they want to use... clear and convincing, beyond a reasonable doubt... etc is all semantics that everyone will interpret differently anyways. It's incredibly easy to sync up EVERY camera angle on any play in the digital age and run them frame by frame in a matter of seconds. THEN, the replay room should be required to log the entire process and explain why they made the call they did and that information should be accessible to all teams the following day for transparency, as well as MLB so they can review the calls to make sure they can intervene going forward to make clarifications. Like, in the case of Varsho's catch... the review team would have to explain why they ruled it a non-catch, in detail. Not just "well, we saw go in the glove on the fly, but... there was this one frame where we think it might have fallen out and we're not sure so...we went with safe"... that wouldn't fly.
  19. Stuff isn't meant to quantify those things. It's purely a measure of shape and movement. Speaking of which, anyone has his stuff and location #'s from yesterdays start? And also where to find that info so I don't have to ask again ... lol
  20. It's also one of those things that makes me wonder about getting the bye... obviously you want it, youre' one round further into the playoffs, but... that layoff can really mess with hitter's timing, which is such a massive part of hitting, not to mention pitcher rust which some of our guys have a real issue with. Vlad's timing gets obliterated with even the shortest layoffs of a few games even when he is healthy.
  21. I dont want the Guardians anywhere near the playoffs. It's always those types of teams that just sneak in and wreck plans.
  22. Borucki was DFA, he wont be an option likely. Feels like Fluharty should get the nod out of that group if we assume Bassitt is there for nothing other than loooooong relief to save the pen if a SP gets lit up in the first couple of innings. Berrios is superfluous when you only need 3 starters. But they may need to change that if they get through to the ALCS.
