  1. This might be a "second time through the order we get to you" kind of night
  2. Brewers just made Keller their bitch for their 12th straight win. They haven't lost since the day before the trade deadline. 4 straight sweeps. Unreal steamroll right now
  3. Still no confirmation from anywhere on this, though some Korean outlets are referencing the tweet and also running the story.
  4. Sorry bud. My Spanky-to-English translator must have been on the fritz for a minute.
  5. Very basic one... Moon Seo-jun, evaluated as one of the top three prospects for the 2026 rookie draft alongside Park Jun-hyun (Cheonan Buk-il High School) and Yang Woo-jin (Gyeonggi Aviation High School), is garnering much attention with his tall stature of 196 cm (6'5" give or take) and fastball exceeding 150 km/h (93mph). His fastball, which comes from a high release point, combined with a curveball that drops sharply, is considered powerful. When asked to introduce his strengths, Moon Seo-jun replied, "I throw fastballs, cutters, two-seamers, changeups, and sweepers. This year, my fastball reached a top speed of 153 km/h.(95mph) Overall, it seems better compared to last year. The pitches I am most confident with are the fastball and changeup." He also revealed his role models, saying, "I like Yu Darvish (San Diego) and in Korea, I admire senior Ahn Woo-jin (Kiwoom)." Considered to have the best physique and greatest potential among this year's promising players.
  6. Probably. The gift that keeps on giving! Though I'll hold off on the cheering until somehwere a bit more reputable also confirms this.
  7. Shows how f*cking old we are too... dammit
  8. THe Barry Horowitz of Jays Centre.
  9. They really need the same thing they need right now, a clear-cut #1 to lead the rotation. That list in this offseason as far as FAs go is pretty short. Whether that ends up being Bieber for the rest of this season or not, we don't know yet obviously but it sure would be nice. He does have that 16m player option that ... well it's not a 0 chance he turns it down depending on how the rest of the season goes but yeah, it's probably not a thing. Woodruff we know will be available since Milwaukee will let him walk for the comp pick and their staff will still be just fine. Bieber might be that guy too. Framber Valdez?
  10. Estrada I think will be in the mix for the #5 spot also though I bet he ends up being in the 6-10 range. Grant Rogers... same deal. Kloffenstein is likely Buffalo emergency depth fodder or straight up released.
  11. True, but at no point has Bieber been walking the planet in his rehab and nearly decapitating batters.
  12. The chances of him coming back to the big squad this season is virtually 0. He'll be optioned to AAA when his rehab timer is up certainly. His mechanics are still way out of whack it seems. I know he was never a command king even when he was getting dominant results, but he could still throw strikes reliably
  13. It definitely runs hot and cold for sure. The good thing the Jays have in their favour is they also take their walks and have just enough power output to not truly rely on the babip gods to score runs most of the time. Early in the season ... terrible to watch. They needed like 5 singles to score one run.
  14. Not that I am aware of. Tango stopped by one day and mentioned the difference between 1b guys as far as "picking" goes is pretty narrow, the difference from the worst, to the best on a season long scale is worth a few runs at most.
  15. Safe to say Woodruff is back and beasting and not suffering any injury hangovers... Offseason signing target???
  16. The Twins announced that they have signed left-hander Génesis Cabrera to a minor league deal, per Bobby Nightengale of the Minnesota Star Tribune. The southpaw will report to Triple-A St. Paul.
  17. The Orioles declared closer Felix Bautista out for the season yesterday, with manager Tony Mansolino citing a “significant” shoulder injury as the cause. the Astros placed Josh Hader on the 15-day IL with a shoulder strain Closers dropping like flies right now
  18. I highly doubt his ego would allow that, but maybe? At least he wouldn't be the shortest on the team for once though
  19. Horton's ERA on the road this season is over 5, so lets hope that tendency keeps up today. 4 pitch guy mainly, 4 seam (95-96), curve(84), sweeper(84), change(88).. occasional sinker at 95.
  20. The some would be me. I'll take that W to weigh against the staggering accummulation of Ls
  21. I agree, I think I'd be more inclined to punt Jimenez over an arm, though I can see the argument of kicking an arm to the curb and just signing a new one in the offseason for depth. I'm just not a big fan of Jimenez TBH. This offseason is gonna be pretty fun in regards to the 40 man roster. There's quite a few guys that are Rule 5 eligible should definitely get protected and how they deal with the 40 man towards the end of the season will be even more interesting because of that
  22. His biggest strength is also his biggest weakness. Guys with little man syndrome always feel like they have something to prove, which makes them push harder than anyone else and get the most out of their physical stature. The ones that are well-adjusted mentally realize when that attitude starts to become a weakness though and don't cross over into a s***** attitude and a way of looking at the world like you're owed something because you think that because you overcame this major obstacle of being short you're better than everyone else and you should be revered because of it.
  23. I love the idea in general, I wonder who the bites the DFA bullet for him since by the time he would get added, both Manoah and Bieber would have likely been activated. Jays have 39 on the 40 man right now, so ... Bieber gets that open spot. When Manoah comes back - DFA Pina most likely If they want to add Yesavage to the 40 man ... that leaves Yimi going to the 60 day, or they have to lose an arm like Bruihl or Schultz, or maybe Jimenez on the position player side.
  24. This kid could be in Vancouver at some point next year as an 18 year old. That's nuts.
  25. Theyre on a roll rohht now but their "8 runs per game" clip they're scoring at right now will eventually cease
