  1. Ty France says hi. Not from the dugout... but he still says hi.
  2. I wish he wasn't in the 2 hole, but yes, Lukes has more than earned his place as a capable MLB starter. Star? no. I hope he can turn his late blooming into at least a free agency payday, though that will be when he's going into his age 36 season.
  3. Interesting to think how that may have gone. Had they put George on, put in Speier to face Lukes, Schneider probably goes to Davis Schneider for the pinch hit opportunity. So many scenarios could have happened if those decisions had been made.
  4. Now from Schneider: Schneider was trying to think alongside Wilson and what counter moves he had. The thought in the Blue Jays dugout was that Wilson might put Springer on first base and go to lefty Gabe Speier for the left-on-left matchup with Lukes. In that scenario, Schneider would have had to pinch-hit for Lukes. “That’s what I thought he was going to do,” Schneider said. “I didn’t know which way Dan was going to go in terms of strategy. But I love the fact that he kept the bat in George’s hands.... I’ll never count George out of an at-bat that means something.”
  5. Some insights from last night's pitching moves by Seattle: Wilson first: “Bazardo has been doing it all season long,” Wilson said. “And he’s been so consistent at it. He’s done such a good job all year. Felt really comfortable with him out there with the way he’s been throwing the ball, especially this series, and it was a good spot for him.” “[Woo] had such a good outing there, and it was time to turn it over, we thought, to the leverage guys who are in those situations,” Wilson said. “That’s what went into that decision.” On whether there was a thought of walking Springer to face Lukes with the bases loaded: “It’s a tough call,” Wilson said. “It’s a tough decision. You don’t want to put that go-ahead run at first. And then that also introduces [Vladimir Guerrero Jr.] into the equation [hitting behind Lukes] if you don’t get the double play. The way we looked at it, we were going to go with George.”
  6. Criticizing the FO of any baseball team is low-hanging fruit. It's cliche today to describe any oversight as "the most egregious failure in the history of the franchise... " etc... Did Atkins fail to improve certain areas enough? Sure. But his overall process was fine and not a single team in baseball improved every need they had as well as they wanted, not even the Dodgers. That's just not how sports work.
  7. You need to be ready for him to face Ohtani, Betts and Freeman. Results, probably a K and 2 walks, but not sure who gets what.
  8. You just know Bassitt is giving it his all knowing he's likely not coming back next season. I mean, not like any of them aren't giving their all, but for guys like him, at his age and contract status there's that little bit extra.
  9. just checked, 500 level is ranging from 2500 to 4000 Behind-ish for the plate for 20k
  10. One thing you know for certain, their pitching staff will be 100% ready to exploit any perceived holes in any player's swings or approaches. The Jays will need to be prepared. Honestly, I dunno how you prepare for their top 3 hitters. Ohtani is baseball Jesus, Betts is en fuego and Freddy is Freeman. Ya just know Teo is going to hit a bomb in an important spot at some point just to make all the casuals whine about not re-signing him. But, like any other baseball game or series, anything can happen. This series is 100% going to be framed as Vlad vs Ohtani. Superstar vs Megastar.
  11. Ever wake up amd you dreamt that your favorite team won game 7 of the ALCS and are going to the World Series? Those dreams are the best. Who won last night?
  12. This thread should be destroyed immediately. It's not too late to delete your account and start over
  13. eat a sweaty dick, let the man enjoy his moment without being a prude about it
  14. If y'all thought DS and CS tickets were expensive.... wait till you see the next ones! LOL And if I could... i'd still pay for it
  15. They're actually my second favorite team... first 2 MLB games I ever saw were in the Kingdome.
  16. RIGHT NOW I LOVE EVERYBODY HERE EXCEPT THE *******S ON IGNORE EVEN MASTERBATHER
  17. If im Julio im sitting Dead red, Hoff cant land offspeed or breaking at all
