I dont even know how someone could try and predict what their reaction would be to something like that. Unless youre going through it, it's one of those things you hust have very little perspective on. My mother had kidney cancer like 25 years ago, but they caught it early enough, took out the kidney before it had a chance to spread, and nothing ever since.

I suppose it depends, like Brando posted above there's a good chance to live with it with treatment for a while, but it's not one that's cureable. You get treament off and on over the years but eventually it wins.

My gut was correct, almost 2 runs of total impact from the umpshow. Nowhere near as bad as Angel Hernandez yesterday though... that was atrocious. 77% accuracy on called strikes. -
Thing is, that one close call on its own probably wouldn’t be thought of too much. But, if it was preceded by and followed by close to 20 other garbage calls….yeah

Ive only seen 1 inning and have noticed the umps alot. THat's not a good sign. I bet tomorrow's Ump scorecard shows at least 2 runs of total impact

Sad but true, biggest spots in the game and he's always the one at the plate pounding it into the ground.

they showed the side view on the jays feeed, wasnt even close to a swing. Bat didnt cross the front of the plate and his wrists didnt break. How would that be a swing?

It drives me crazy when guys with the hitting talent of Vlad Jr just decide before the pitch that they wont be swinging - then watch crushable meatballs fly by. With his talents he should be thinking murder every pitch
