    Clement. I really want to take Straw but the 2 PAs hes gonna get before he gets subbed out for Sanchez is too big a gamble.

    Yeah, feels like you hope Fisher can give ya 2, Miles 4, then go from there. I really dont want to see Yariel again perosnally, but that probably cant be avoided.

    Got the win but that was some god-awful pitch calling for Varland. Dude can throw 100mph fastballs yet they had him throwing his 3rd and 4th best pitches the entire inning.

    His performance this year isn't enough of an ego check I guess. I know all pro athletes generally have to have a healthy ego or they wouldnt make it to where they are, but when it crosses into semi-delusion it's a little alarming

    Johnny King made it through 5 IP again, 5k, 3bb, 4 hits, but whats kind of impressive is he threw 28 of his 73 pitches in the 1st inning, then came back and slammed the door over the next 4 using only 45 more. Good thing to see him bounce back like that

    100+ mph pitches by starters, 2026 (entering Monday) 233 - Misiorowski 149 - every other starting pitcher in MLB combined

    They should just tell him to do some fake-swings for 4 consecutive PAs, just to see what would happen. Pitchers clearly know they don't need to throw strikes against him

    Whats messed up... the video highlights from that game had his double, but not his triple. Kinda weird.

    I'm not overly optimistic on today's game as the Yankees hitters historically have crushed Corbin, Jays hitters have very few total ABs against Weathers (15 for the entire roster combined) and they tend to not do well against guys they haven't seen much of. The key against Weathers is getting to his fastball, since it sucks. he throws both a 4 seam and a sinker around 95, but both of them get crushed. Change is about average, it's his slider and sweeper that are his bread and butter pitches for limiting damage. Key on the fastball and you'll have a good day. Swing at his breakers, you won't. Sweeper - 50% whiff rate. Slider - 40% whiff rate 4seam - 22% whiff rate, Sinker 10% whiff rate.

    Peyton Williams, not exactly the prototypical leadoff hitter at 6'5" 260 (and thats probably light by a few) hit a triple tonight. I need to see this footage

    Why do the Dodgers trade for seemingly every Jays DFA guy? Also... how do you trade a guy + cash to the f***ing Dodgers. They spend 800 million every year and they want cash? 😂

    Those are sexy. That really good IVB fastball must make that breaker that starts out at the top of the zone just look like it vanishes.
