  1. Ooooh yeah. Something to do with giving himself equity in a program and improperly disclosing money going somewhere....im fuzzy on the details
  2. Tony Clark stepping down as the head of the MLB PA... weird timing given the upcoming contract battle
  3. 6.8 arb contract, which means just over 14 million cost to the Jays.
  4. 3rd and 4th ranks? Our offensive? Where you from?
  5. Nah. Jays will pound him out of the by the 3rd inning.
  6. Yeah, but when your 2nd and 3rb arb years are 3 seasons apart... its not that common of a scenario. It's odd, but its not gonna break the system. Whats more odd is why the Jays felt it was necessary to be combative about just over 1 million dollars when they've signed Vlad and Cease to mega deals, and tried to sign multiple others to them as well. Why nickle and dime this guy?
  7. Kinda matters when each injury was detected. One thing about surgeons, they will never cut a dude open unless either a) the injury is so bad there's no chance of rehabbing it, or b) all that rehab was done and failed. He (Francis) was out last season with shoulder impingement so, hard to say when this popped up.
  8. I doubt he ever left their radar, but ... I'd take him back as a reliever who they could then pop in to the rotation for a few starts if needed. Scherzer the psycho as a reliever has some decent upside potential.
  9. He's been reducing workload the past few years as is, did 100 games last year. For a guy of his health it's probably for the best. I bet he comes back for a series or two here and there.
  10. Maybe if spats is still around he can weigh in, he goes down every year.
  11. Either that, or Bieber's health is worse than we all think
  12. I think my overall point in the Wilson signing is, right now he's the exact type of guy that doesn't typically get paid in arbitration, so why not just go year to year with him? It's not a bad extension by any means, it just seems unnecessary. He's a below average runner and defender at SS, with bottom of the barrel EVs even when healthy. That's not really a recipe for even average power outputs.
  13. I dunno. His 100 PA thecyear before ( yes...SSS) was pretty much identical statcast wise to 2025. Also gotta remember he's playing his home games in a AAA incredible hitters park that will inflate offense. Home away splits are massively different. I could be wrong as he has just 1 full season of PAs, just saying there's real reason to be skeptical Good for him to get his bag.
  14. You may want to look at his savant page again.
  15. Tidy contract for an Arraez clone at SS.
  16. Hope you went incognito on the asian porn sites.
  17. Mine is just a specific browser app with a built-in ad blocker that works exceptionally well. Desktop and mobile and works like a charm.
  18. Yup. He forgot to tell him to shine it up real nice first. Fake fan of the Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment.
  19. Of course not, thats what ad blockers are for. Best suicide prevention tool since banning grant I will allow them here though going forward
  20. The amount of ads I see when im not using a blocker (not just here) makes me want to hang myself.
  21. That how i feel, for some reason people are getting hung up on the counting stat totals. 1500 hits, less than 160 HRs... It's like they forgot he was a catcher or something maybe??
  22. Hearing a lot of talking heads saying Posey is a slam dunk 1st ballot Hall of Fame inductee next year Others say hes not even close. Thoughts?
  23. Shut up or i'll club you on the ball diamond. (just needed to work both of the other suits in...)
  24. The pressure from the PA on elite players to earn as much as humanly possible is real. One really only needs to look at the history of baseball ownership groups to understand why. Yes, from a personal perspective... 100 million... 200 million.... that doesnt make a real difference in quality of life for any individual player or family, either way you are set for life, your family is set for life, your family's kids, their kids and their kids are set for life... at least assuming money still exists as we know it after WW3 in a few years.
  25. What ya nean there's no FA CFs next year? Varsho will be available
