  1. Sorry that you don't understand how ST works.
  2. Can't fix stupid can ya Jonn.
  3. Don't be a narcisstic douche. Pompey is in LF because they wanted to get Pillar reps in CF, and I'm willing to be you knew that. You just wanted to find something to bitch about. Who f***ing cares.
  4. He doesn't. But if Saunders hadn't been injured he isn't even in the equation. LF has now become almost bullpen esque- stockpiling depth and hoping something sticks. I'm not by any means remotely excited about this signing, but what does excite me is that someone in the Blue Jay FO is smart enough to realize they couldn't simply rely on what they had. Whether Viciedo has any impact remains to be seen, but if this (injury to a starter) had happened years prior I'm pretty confident AA would've said f*** it and rolled the dice with whatever was within the org. Does make not signing Rickie Weeks even more puzzling now, though. They must be pretty confident in Travis.
  5. Of course there is. Because you cherry picked vs LHP and I never said that. It was in reference to both being guys who strike out a lot, don't walk much, and have little in terms of on base ability who have played corner OF/IF spots in hopes to fit their bats* into the line up.
  6. It's better than Chris Colabello though. I get that he's pretty redundant, and not even good. But at least AA is using his resources to improve what he can. That's what I take away from this anyhow.
  7. The thing is, he isn't using a roster spot right now. What's wrong with depth?
  8. Good post. A lottery ticket indeed. If nothing else, should be a viable option against LHP. It just sucks handcuffing yourself with a guy like Viciedo, knowing that he's almost certainly a one dimensional player who really can only DH/play sparingly in the OF. That being said, I'm fine with the move. It's pretty meh, but there is a chance he does force his way into some DH starts against lefties as someone said.
  9. He's basically Chris Colabello with power. Nothing to see here. (Yes I made a cross race comparison)
  10. I thought AA offered Stroman and Houston said no? Or am I thinking of another trade? Something involving Stroman came out when all that leaked Houston information surfaced.
  11. I can't look away
  12. Ya I read that too, although it would be hard to outspend the Dodgers I think if they really put their mind to it.
  13. Unreal screen name. Good work.
  14. From Kiley's chat today at Fangraphs: Comment From DKNJ What are the chances that Devon Travis is a lowercase Mookie Betts? He seems criminally underrated by most prospect rankers. Bat to ball supersedes all!!! Kiley McDaniel: I’m surprised I haven’t seen more Devon Travis truthers in these chats due to the numbers. He’s good. He’s not Mookie Betts. Tools are nowhere close. Comment From Jays fan How much does Anthony Alford have to show this year to be considered a 45 or more FV prospect? Kiley McDaniel: I have him as a 40+ right now and with a solid month I might move him up to 45 FV. Tools are that good and he’s played that little. Really interesting guy to watch this year. Comment From Jheff What FV would you assign to Marcus Stroman? Kiley McDaniel: 65
  15. Still love this move. Like BTS said no one thought a Kazmir or Colon resurgence would happen either. Hopefully he can bring something to the table still, even if its only ~120 IP.
  16. It's really perfect. It's the day after I get back from Texas for spring break. I have one that morning, and could have one that night!
  17. That sounds like my dad. He doesn't understand advanced stats (nor does he care to) but he's a huge fan of Kawa because he's so damn likeable. What I hate is when people form arguments from opinions like this. Casuals make the baseball world go round, but lots of them won't budge even when numbers are in front of them.
  18. Dodgers scare me
  19. Good point. 50% chance that they win the next game too.
  20. Great job by AA to acquire more depth. Much better than someone like Chris Young.
  21. Why not use the best available data though?
  22. Throwing error during 10 game winning streak to lose the game. -1 WAR
  23. What day is the draft? Edit: I'm dumn. I would be in if you need guys.
