  1. Awesome interview. Good to hear he loves Canada.
  2. Flawed logic is flawed. Hitting home runs and muscle mass are not in direct correlation of each other. Just because someone has "cut" doesn't mean they have lost strength. In lots of cases it's actually the opposite.
  3. But you did make a pretty douchey post towards him even though you agree.
  4. PFP stands for pitcher fielding practice. Coaches hit fungos to simulate different in game situations (pushes, drags, sacrifices etc). It's a controlled environment where everyone knows what's happening. Tldr: he wasn't the one bunting.
  5. PFP drill I'm assuming. Terrible luck, but at least he will be ready for the start of 2016. Better than happening mid season. Cueto a Blue Jay by the All Star break!
  6. Explaining your reasoning and theories to the everyone helps make the forum more progressive, rather than stating your knowledge and waiting for someone to ask why. I'd be interested in reading your reasoning behind this.
  7. Dodgers or Nats don't win 100 games, never mind the Jays.
  8. Lol, 1000 dollars this is not the pen. Care to wager?
  9. I really don't think it's this simple. If it was everyone would be doing it, position players included. Being skeptical of weight ball programs is certainly reasonable.
  10. I agree. It's going to be interesting to watch him this year.
  11. Yup, I was surprised he didn't slide.
  12. I thought he was too
  13. I'm not arguing with the lowest IQ on the site. Can we get a sub forum just for Jonn to bitch and complain in?
  14. I would have to agree.
  15. Sorry that you don't understand how ST works.
  16. Can't fix stupid can ya Jonn.
  17. Don't be a narcisstic douche. Pompey is in LF because they wanted to get Pillar reps in CF, and I'm willing to be you knew that. You just wanted to find something to bitch about. Who f***ing cares.
  18. He doesn't. But if Saunders hadn't been injured he isn't even in the equation. LF has now become almost bullpen esque- stockpiling depth and hoping something sticks. I'm not by any means remotely excited about this signing, but what does excite me is that someone in the Blue Jay FO is smart enough to realize they couldn't simply rely on what they had. Whether Viciedo has any impact remains to be seen, but if this (injury to a starter) had happened years prior I'm pretty confident AA would've said f*** it and rolled the dice with whatever was within the org. Does make not signing Rickie Weeks even more puzzling now, though. They must be pretty confident in Travis.
  19. Of course there is. Because you cherry picked vs LHP and I never said that. It was in reference to both being guys who strike out a lot, don't walk much, and have little in terms of on base ability who have played corner OF/IF spots in hopes to fit their bats* into the line up.
  20. It's better than Chris Colabello though. I get that he's pretty redundant, and not even good. But at least AA is using his resources to improve what he can. That's what I take away from this anyhow.
  21. The thing is, he isn't using a roster spot right now. What's wrong with depth?
