  1. Yup, I was. Stopped watching once they brought Tepera in though. f*** that s***. If we were the Atlanta Braves then sure, let's see what we've got. If the Jays are planning on competing next year I don't think you give 150 innings to Liam Hendriks and hope that he's better than the >4.00 SIERA guy he was in the past. I'd much rather turn Osuna into a starter than Hendriks.
  2. Liam Hendriks should not be a starter again. Liam Hendriks thrived out of the bullpen. He is a legitimate back end option for next year's squad.
  3. This. The best team doesn't always win the WS. Most of the time you need multiple cracks at the post season to win.
  4. 1. A couple of starters (not including Osuna moving to the rotation) 2. Bullpen depth 3. Back up catcher Stay healthy again.
  5. My thoughts are with Loup. In the middle of what should be the best time of his career and one of the best experiences of his life, he has to deal with presumably someone close to him dying.
  6. Guys, how can you fire a MOY candidate?!
  7. Many of us have been here dissecting over 100 games a year even when the Jays were s*****. If the people here are so bad you can go here : http://www.forums.mlb.com/discussions/Toronto_Blue_Jays/ml-bluejays?redirCnt=1
  8. Which is probably the most favorable outcome for the Jays.
  9. Yup. Hawkins should be nowhere near the mound today. Need Liam to bridge this to the 7th.
  10. Sanchez is still a nice guy to have in the pen. Just not a guy you want to count on in high leverage innings.
  11. That's not how baseball works but okay. Name two closers who closed for 15 years.
  12. Sanchez is a situational righty, Osuna should be starting.
  13. I'd prefer Ryan Goins at first, Travis at second but I hear what you're saying!
  14. Bringing in Hendriks, then giving Hendriks the quick hook, then going to Osuna. 1. Neither Hendriks or Osuna should've been brought in to start the ninth. 2. Once Hendriks was in, he should've stayed in. No need to bring in Osuna. 3. Hawkins could have easily finished this game.
  15. Am I the only one who isn't surprised to see Pillar have a breakout season after publicly acknowledging the presence of the illuminati?
  16. I wonder if the Phillies would've taken Bautista for him?
  17. Actually my opinion has no bearing on the direction this organization takes. I've also been adamant about building for sustained success.
  18. And if my aunt had a dick she'd be my uncle. Bautista is f***ing awesome.
  19. Lol that team would not have made the playoffs.
  20. This is one of the best baseball communities on the internet. Making baseless claims about stealing signs really makes the whole fanbase look like a bunch of insufferable pussies. If you don't like it, pitch better.
  21. Wasn't really reactionary when I've felt that way the entire year.
